"the german cake was not german cake, well at least absolutely nothing close to what I grew up knowing as german cake. Almost a 'malt color' chocolate cake with icing of coconut and brown sugar which defines german chocolate, the fav part being the coconut icing and an abundance of on top & sometimes in the middle.
