My neighbor corrected me on a previous review and said that is not a small pizza box of nachos, that is a medium size pizza box full of nachos. She could not believe the size and all the ingredients on the nachos. Every chip is covered in at least a few ingredients. The Kickin Nachos are absolutely the most underrated item on the menu for the value & flavor. The burritos are the second go to. They are every bit as good heated up the next day. I have taken a burrito to work to heat up the next day, and it is really good. We usually get the burrito with ground beef. It has been a long time since I had eaten at Taco Cabana but the last month or so, the Kickin Nachos on a cold or weekend night just hits the spot every time. What we ordered: 2 Signature sliders, 2 Combo Gyro Wrap (with lamb and falafel), Hummus & Pitas, and Dirty Mac & Chicken. The Signature sliders are so yummy! We got it with no boom boom sauce but as you can see we got a bunch of sauce on the side. We dipped it in the garlic sauce and it was heavenly. They are slider size so please dont expect a large burger. The meat and caramelized onions and cheese were delicious!! Combo Gyro Wrap We ordered the lamb and the falafel combo. I didn't like the falafel much, but I believe that'sjust a personal taste preference. My boyfriend really enjoyed it! We topped ours with wise sauce, garlic sauce and chutney. The CHUTNEY omg, so yummy and fresh we loved this sauce. (All of the sauces are amazing, I'm sad we didnt try all of what they offered) Hummus & Pita The pita was so crispy but soft, salty and warm. The hummus was a great side! Dirty Mac & Chicken We got the sauce on the side, just in case for the sogginess and also for taste preferences. It was very yummy I loved the fries them selves. The Mac and cheese was okay, it wasn't super distinct from a plain Mac and cheese and I felt like the chicken portion was great! Boy I'm glad I did. the food was fresh and delicious. And a bonus is it was delivered sooner the the original estimated time. The fish basket came with 2 decent sized fish. it was seasoned and fried to perfection. The shrimp are huge! The hush puppies could have been cooked a little bit more. But that's just my preference. I ordered 2 Fried Catfish & Shrimp Basket , one with fries and the other with macaroni and cheese. Fries had a nice seasoning on them, wasn't too salty. the macaroni was cheesey and had a nice texture to the.....The banana Banana Pudding was awesome.
