"I've ordered from here so many times over the last 3 or 4 years, from different locations, and literally almost every time they don't put the pomegranate molasses sauce (the thing that makes it different from similar restaurants) on the wrap. I always order it on the side because of this, and sometimes they forget that too, even with me adding an order note asking them to please not forget it in the wrap, or on the side. Tonight's Shawarma Mix wraps didn't have the pomegranate sauce OR the garlic sauce (which they've forgotten once before). Those are listed ingredients, not extras. The meat was dry and chewy tonight, and the moisture in the wrap came from watery lettuce and tomatoes...some water dripped out of the wrap when I first picked it up. You can see in the photo that there's no sauce, a few limp wisps of lettuce, and about two pieces each of turnip and tomato. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I've finally had enough. How is it so difficult to put the same 5 ingredients in a wrap? I understand a place having an off night, but almost every single time?? I'm sadly not surprised their rating isn't very good because I'm sure I'm not the only one having this experience."

The bed of rice was perfectly cooked, with a buttery hint for flavour. There were very generous portions of lamb and chicken, seasoned generously and incredibly succulent.
I topped mine off with the white sauce and the hot sauce, which perfectly complemented the meats. "Tried this place out after my usual halal place suffered a deterioration in quality. Shah's is a top-tier restaurant not only by halal standards but for cuisine in general. Portions are great, meat is delicious (the chicken moreso, but the lamb is still tasty), they give a generous amount of hummus/chick peas/beans, and they even give you a nice surprise treat to top it all off. The medium spicy dish was completely bland; no salt, no garlic, no ginger, no Indian or Asian spices. Nothing. It had almost raw very strong onions and some chili perfect for medium heat. The chicken had no flavour. Not even salt. The rice was still hard. The food had no aroma. Not good.

"I tried them for the first time with the Golden Veggie Fried (Wings) and it was fresh and delicious. What the other reviews say about the quality of the crunch and meat is true. The cabbage salad is also fresh with corn and a nice dressing but small so next time I would order two. I would probably order the regular chicken instead of wings because I could've eaten more. I only wish the wings came with a small side like a little rice or few fries. Other than that, it's great and I will be eating here soon again. "

"Deeeelicious! I ordered the Tofu in Black Bean sauce (super flavorful and not too spicy), plain steamed rice (as a bed for the Tofu with Black Bean sauce - basically perfectly steamed and unseasoned white rice) and vegetable spring rolls. Flavours awesome and portions generous and made great leftovers that reheated well. I will order from here again.
Just to note: you might want to include an instruction for 1 plum sauce per spring roll if including spring rolls on your order, as I received only one portion of plum sauce for two spring rolls so had to ration the plum sauce :) .
