"I’ve ordered from Port of Peri Peri (Buffalo Grove location) multiple times before, but unfortunately, this will be my last. Over time, I’ve noticed a steady decline in quality while prices keep increasing. Today’s order was the final straw. I ordered a whole chicken with peri rice (large upgrade) and five extra sauces. The chicken was extremely dry, as if it hadn’t thawed properly before cooking. Instead of the large rice portion I paid for, they gave me a small, which is just careless. The extra sauces were another disappointment—while I understand they won’t be filled to the brim for transport, these were barely half full, yet they charge $1 per sauce. Out of the five I ordered, only two were decently filled—a complete ripoff. My family used to love takeout from here, but the quality has dropped too much to justify the price anymore. I genuinely believe it’s this Buffalo Grove location cutting corners because the Schaumburg location has maintained its standards. Save your money and go elsewhere—this location is not worth it anymore."
