another reason I gave 5 stars this Starbucks is because my boyfriend ordered an egg sausage croissant and without me asking. since I actually forgot, they included the sirachi hot sauce packets he loves. I've had a craving I wasn't able to pinpoint for weeks, but the Breakfast Bagel satisfied that craving before I had even finished half. Even though there is more egg than I'm used to, Breakfast Bagel still tasted balanced, didn't give me the egg ick, and the texture was surprisingly pleasant. The seseame seeds didn't fall off the bagel and make a mess either!
The flavor of the Lavender Latte had caught me off guard and I didn't like it at first, but the more of it I drank the better it got. The flavor of the lavender isnt overpowering, and really good after the first new sips. My one genuine complaint is that the latte arrived a bit too much on the cooler side, but it was fixable.
The Banana/ Carrot Bread was fantastic though, it arrived warm and the chocolate was still a little melty (in a good way), but I would be careful if you have nut allergens!
The Tamales were also really good, and came with a very flavorful salsa (it went well on the bagel too). The Tamales have a softer texture and is filled with chicken, a simple classic.
