"Small Beef Pot Pie: The pie was frozen solid. Not simply cold; it was frozen solid and in its original packaging. It needed to be removed from its plastic wrapping, thawed and then baked in an oven. The picture on the door dash menu is of a cooked, ready to eat product and there are no indicators that one would receive something other than that. The restaurant is represented on door dash as a fast food option for ready-to-eat baked goods; not a grocery store. I called the store and was told that they only bake the product if requested. However, it is clear on door dash that the store opts not to take special requests. I have received hot food from this place before.
As I would guess all of their products are shipped to them frozen and prepackaged, there is no expectation of a frozen pot pie being delivered to one's door anymore than there is an expectation of a frozen apple pie being delivered. If they were out of the prepared product, they should have called and advised the customer."
