We ordered the Turkey wings with collard greens and potato salad, fried whiting fish with macaroni and cheese with candied yams, oxtails with lima beans and cabbage, as well as a homemade lemonade, banana pudding and a lemon pound cake. The turkey wings were extremely tender, falling off the bone delicious, collard greens were some of the best we've ever had, and the potato salad was even better than I could've imagined. The fried whiting was super fresh and crispy, macaroni and cheese was so creamy & the baked cheese on top was an amazing touch, as well as the yams, which had the perfect sweetness to them and melted in your mouth. The oxtails were so tender they practically melted into my fork, lima beans had a great flavor, and had us considering ordering another side of the cabbage. Lemonade was perfectly sweet, and the banana pudding as well as the lemon pound cake had the perfect texture and sweetness to them. "Very disappointed with the quality of this restaurant. First, I want to clarify that this has nothing to do with the DoorDash driver. The delivery was fine. My issue is entirely with the restaurant. I ordered two sancocho de gallina, which is supposed to be a traditional Colombian soup with hen, potatoes, corn, plantain, and a rich broth. What I received looked nothing like the pictures they advertise. Instead, they sent a small container mostly full of cooked plantain with broth and almost no meat or proper ingredients. It was absolutely not a real sancocho. The packaging was also very poor, and the portion was extremely disappointing for the price. What they show in the photos online is completely different from what they actually send. To make matters worse, when I called and spoke with the manager, the response was very unprofessional. I was told that because I chose delivery instead of picking up the order, DoorDash should handle the complaint. That makes no sense because DoorDash did not cook the food — the restaurant did. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. The same issue occurred last week, where the food delivered was nothing like what was advertised or what I paid for. Overall, very unsatisfied with the quality, presentation, and customer service. I would not recommend this place."
