"I have been going to Sunlight for Indian food for years, and I am never disappointed! I am a super fan of everything I have tried. Sometimes I just want the comfort favorites of rice, butter chicken, naan, korma, and mango lassi and sometimes it's all about trying new things, but every time the food is fresh, hot and delicious. When inside the restaurant, the service is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the dishes are appetizing. I just ordered delivery for the first time through DoorDash. The store is around 25 minutes from my house, and the delivery took 50 minutes from ordering to receiving the meal. Perfectly acceptable. The food was in containers that were saran wrapped to avoid spilling and also helped keep the food warm. There was no ice in the lassi, so it didn't get watered down, which was much appreciated! I think Sunlight is the best Indian food you can get near Modesto. It is worth the drive, and if you are unable, the delivery option works just fine."
