"Beef broccoli, orange chicken, shrimp chop suey w fried rice and chow mein noodles~ my second day ordering, it's even better today. Flavorful and packed to the brim, its 2 portions if not more. Imagine as though you are back in the 90s at the mall food court sharing a plate with your bestie and you both can't finish the plate bc you are both now in a food coma. So you decide to grab ice cream or an icee and go back to shopping or its time for you to go get picked up by your mom lol It's the Chinese fast food I've enjoyed as a kid and thought was long gone, different from panda it's like the og Chinese fast food I've missed and perhaps it's nostalgia but they def have the thicker noodles for their chow mein which I love and have missed as they are moist and have a nice chewiness. Thick cuts of beef for the broccoli beef and quite flavorful. Shrimp chop suey reminds me of something I would get at a sit down fancier Chinese restaurant. "I decided to try this place mainly because I love Halo-Halos. I wanted to see if this place compared to the others. Unfortunately, the Halo-Halo had barely any sweetened fruits and beans at all, it was just a glorified sno-cone. It was mostly just a cup of ice. I had one scoop of beans on top, but throughout there were maybe 3 chunks of fruit if even that? The ube ice cream and flan were good at least, but it was nothing like the picture. The Rice Bowl was bland and didn't come with any green onion like it shows in the picture. I can't really believe I spent that much money on bland rice and dry chicken, I could have made that at home myself for much less. The Chili Garlic Oil Packet did help a little bit (along with sweet and sour sauce), but not enough to save the dish. Overall, I wouldn't order from here again, or at least not the items I did order. "When I originally visited the Torrance lunasia, it was shortly after they opened and a little chaotic. my order was not correct and the food was not as wonderful as the Cerritos location. I chalked it up to working out the Kinks of opening a new location. I decided to try again and ordered delivery. I ordered Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs 椒鹽排骨 , which, by the way, seemed to be full pork loin chops, large, thick and juicy. Wonderful surprise. I ordered the Pan-Fried Vermicelli w/ Curry 星洲炒米粉 (known to me as Singapore style rice noodle). Chock full of BBQ pork, shrimp so large you can't eat in one bite, egg and other delicious veggies. The Hot and sour soup (Bowl) 酸辣湯 was also delicious, not too sour, the seasoning was well-balanced. And finally, the Macao Style Egg Custard 葡國蛋撻. They were still warm, so I had to eat one right away. It was wonderful to bite into the warm, crispy crust and delicious soft custard center. YUMMMM! I'm happy to see that the Torrance Lunasia appears to have gotten the recipe rythym. Will definitely return."

"Worst Chinese food I've ever ordered, in fact some of the worst takeout I've ever had. Everything ordered (medium side of orange chicken,combo fried rice, egg rolls)had the same off smell and stale taste. Chicken was simultaneously crispy and squishy at the same time, flavorless and I ended up throwing it away. Rice was so dry even the excessive oil didn't find a way into it, sitting in a small puddle at the bottom. And the shrimp... the pork... I just, threw that away too. Terrible, never again."

"Ordered Wontons in Chili Oil / 紅油抄手 and Sichuan Cold Noodles / 四川涼麵. I was worried about too much numbing from the sauces because I'm not that familiar with Sichuan cooking and which items do or do not include it, but still wanting the taste of chili oil and peanuts. I ordered these two dishes and they were absolutely delicious. I was sorry that I had hesitated so many times before. They are quite oily and spicy, but the flavors are so satisfying. I didn't experience much numbing sensation at all, so I'm guessing this had very little to none Sichuan pepper. Food arrived so hot and fresh. Even the rice was good quality - perhaps a Calrose or other good short grain. Highly recommend if you're local and looking for what you'd get in San Gabriel and other far away Sichuan spots!"
