"This was my second time ordering food from La Porta. They present themselves as a fine dining establishment, and their food is expensive. The dishes look and sound great, but the food is awful. This time I ordered the Penne Vodka and a small Patate (French fries). I can't tolerate spicy food, so I called La Porta and requested no red pepper. The red pepper was in the sauce. It was so spicy hot that I couldn't eat it. Also, the pasta was overcooked. True Italian fine dining serves their pasta Al dente. The French fries were disgusting. They had been fried in rancid oil so they had that bitter rancid oil taste. Even worse, the fries were not fresh. They were stale fries that had been shoved in the microwave to heat them. Expensive meal, tossed in the trash. No, I will not be wasting my money here again."
