"I chose China Garden tonight because Lee’s Canton restaurant turned off their ordering acceptance due to high volume. Very glad that I did. Portions were fair. "Moonshiners Saloon in Olivehurst has good food. The Pancake (while priced at $5 and only 6 inch wide) had very good flavor and was cooked perfectly. Tacos (steak and sour cream minus pico) were a good snack. Chicken Strips & Fries very good, chicken was juicy and good flavor, fries good, ranch dip thin but good flavor. Meat & Egg Plate very good, egg good, bacon good and slightly crispy, sourdough ok, hashbrowns undercooked but good flavor. Moonshine Toast french toast, very good, not too sweet, soaked and cooked correctly, better than many of the chain food places. Other: the butter is real butter with whipped air bubbles, syrup has an acidy taste, napkins are BBQ size. Overall good food, a bit pricy but worth it."
