"I had a very disappointing and honestly disturbing experience at this restaurant. I was served a glass of water that had a bright pink lipstick stain around the rim, clearly someone else’s. This is a serious sanitation issue and completely unacceptable.
I brought it to the waiter’s attention and asked if they could speak to the owner about offering a discount for the inconvenience. When the check came back, it was $65 with only a $6 discount, which did not reflect the severity of the issue. I then spoke to the owner directly, hoping for a more reasonable resolution.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, the owner was extremely rude. She threw my card at me and told me I should leave. When I tried to calmly ask why she was behaving that way, she ignored me and continued with an attitude. What made it worse is that she never even apologized for the fact that I was served a dirty glass.
I’ve been to this restaurant many times before and would have been willing to overlook the mistake if they had simply shown proper customer service, a sincere apology and a fair resolution. Instead, I was treated disrespectfully for raising a legitimate health concern.
I will never return, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Cleanliness and basic respect for customers should be the bare minimum."
