"Day started off terrible. Unexpected guest at the house at 5 am. Traffic on 47 kept me at a light for four red lights. But none of that matters. Today was runza day! Savory Special of the Day today had runza again, and all my cares have melted away. It's like the world's best hot pocket. The beef is always cooked perfectly and never dry. The cabbage is always cut in perfect little tender bites. The pastry itself is savory and soft on the inside but has a nice bite. The bottom is my favorite. All the savory little crispy bits are like little pops of flavor. The top is sprinkled with sesame and pairs so well with the rest. I just ate three for breakfast. "The best avocado toast of my life was today's Savory Special of the Day. I thought it was burrata on top; it was the best soft boiled egg I've ever gotten. This includes ramen restaurants. It was not a meal to eat in polite company, at least not the way I ate it. Yolk and flaky pastry everywhere. I'm saving my Ham and Gruyère Croissant and Chocolate Croissant for lunch as they're two of my favorites.
