"This is real food and based on the taste its prepared by real people with real roots in Cuban cuisine/culture. The Pork Chunks *Mamas de Puerco are like chicharron in Central America. Perfectly prepared fatty chunks of meat. The Cuban is as good as you'll find outside of south Florida. The Sweet Plantains *Platanos Maduros are prepared to perfection and it's actually difficult to find plantains that are even able to be cooked this well in NC. My only concern is with the Pork Chunks *Masas de Puerco- the dish lacks condiments. It's basically just perfectly cooked fatty pork chunks with a few sautéed onions and a ton of white rice. Black beans and some chilero(fermented vegetables) would make this one the best dishes in Asheville.
We've lived in south Florida, and all throughout Central America and we'll be ordering again. Like I said- real food.

OLD 1-2 BURGER - Solid option when you want a burger that's not overly topped, but not pure classic either. When you're feeling a just a teeny bit adventurous. But, there were few enough fries that I can confidently say there were about 20 of them. A lesser man would have been offended.
SPICY CHICKEN EGG ROLLS - They sound damn good, I was very excited, but door dash called me and delivered earth shattering news: "This item is unavailable". On top of that, the best replacement dish were the CHICKEN TENDERS + FRIES. It's scary to think that an order of tendies and fries can strike at any moment.
CHIP N QUESO - Chips were nicely done. Queso had a good spice level. But, ike every other establishment in the universe, no math was used when determining the ratio of chips to dip.
