"Lamb biryani and Chicken Makhani were flavorful, both were good portions. The biryani had some heat to it but not overpowering. The Garlic Cheese Naan and Garlic Naan were a bit too thick that some parts seemed as if the dough was not cooked through. Also ordered the Viceroy Special Fries, which was also very good. One thing about it though, was I asked for the fries to be well done and the sauce on the side, but the fries were soggy and the sauce was on them. "Today was my first time here. First let me start with the staff. Loved being greeted as I walked in the door by the team behind the counter. I was asked if I had a call in order and was told it was being worked on. The guys behind the counter were effortlessly making orders while casually chatting with those picking out the ingredients for their orders. I waited less than two and half minutes at most and was on my way.
What most impressive is the layout of the bowls. Someone had gone above and beyond about presentation. But even more than that it's the freshest fish I have gotten here in Bakersfield and hate to admit this but even fresher than some I had on the coast. They don't skimp on the fish either. The pieces are good sized and melted in my mouth. The seaweed salad was delicious!! For me, that's saying a lot LOL. I'm definitely a convert. This is my new go to for that sushi fix in a bowl."
