"It's been a while since I've come here, thought I'd give em another shot and that Medium HSP with any Coca-Cola 600ml variant was perfect. Great portion size and the ratio of meat to chip was spot on the money. The Fries on the side were also great, everything was hot, no issues at all, great work, would return!"
"Dry, dark terrible chips. Overpriced for this portion. The 'medium' here is the same size as the small size at other stores. Also it's cheaper to buy separate instead of in the HSP deal! Terrible chips, what a waste. Clearly they don't care about getting bad reviews. Will not be ordering from here again. Also the olives in the greek salad were rotten."

"Chicken Kebab was great - Freshly made "
"Really enjoyed the HSP - generous serving size, good quality meat and got the sauces spot on. Chips in the HSP could be a bit better - they tasted like they were pulled a bit too soon from the frier, and the "fluff" of the potato reminds me a bit of the cheap "fish n chips" shop chips. Overall, would order again, great value for money, a good filling serve."

"Lovely, generous meals, packed with care. Meat, salad, bread, and rice were delicious. Habibi heat dip added a kick! And we loved the freshly made sourdough donuts - the perfect mix of the dough not-too-sugary & jam adding sweetness!!"
"The Halal Box is perfection. Nice, crispy chips with a tasty gravy, three juicy chicken wings, that with the gravy also works. The jewel in the crown is that kebab. Cheers for the combo of garlic sauce and habibi heat. The BEST meal quickly prepared and delivered when you cant be fussed cooking."

"Delicious! Ordered the Dual Meal and chose the andhras chicken which was tender and the daal makhani was wonderfully creamy with soft lentils and beans - rice options, breads and sides altogether, an awesome value deal for the amount received. Idly ordered was not available but they called soon after the order was placed and offered a replacement plain dosa which was lovely but wish they had provided a sambal with it. MANGO LASSI was so thick but no complaints!"
"Well, that was delicious. A tad spicier than I'd expected, but then it's only the third dosa I've ever eaten. The samosa was hot and fresh. I think that's the thickest mango lassi I've ever had--no complaints here. And...I don't think I've had a dosa that big before either. And now I know--I LOVE gulab jamun (sp?)"

"String hoppers were fresh and soft. Worth for the price paid. "
"The food was awful; we were so disappointed, considering we left a great review for our previous and first order. Firstly, what on earth was that tiny raw coconut flour thing?? That's not roti and for the price we paid, it was a joke. The egg roti was about the only saving grace. Secondly, there was no biryani. Thirdly they have the creme caramel, so just took it upon themselves to give us something we didn't order. Finally, most of the dish was just rice!! Where's the actual curry and meat? There was literally one small piece of meat for the entire meal! This, by far, has been THE worst order through Doordash by a mile. Nearly $80 later, we are never ordering from here again."

"Our new favourite!! We hadn't heard of this restaurant before but thought we'd give it a go and so glad that we did. The food was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh and the butter chicken special is such good value! We also appreciated the free naan, you guys are definitely our new favourite thanks so much!"
"Butter chicken was great, the lamb Rogan Josh was definitely over cooked and a bit dry however the flavours were there. The kebab thing was bright green ? Idk weirded me out a little. The garlic naan was a bit overpowering. The portion sizes were huge. It came fresh and warm. Probably wouldn't order again tho wich is upsetting as the price was good."

"Our absolute favourite restaurant for family meals. Ordered the lunch specials because I like goat and others like chicken. First time trying the spinach goat, the flavour was mild and tasty, goat was a little tough but still nice. The chicken masala, I was told was delicious, the added onions and capsicum adding texture and flavour. Saving the chicken briyani for later. "
"So happy we chose Jhol Momo. Absolutely delicious. The chicken momos' spices and accompanying sauce were sublime. Delicious Nepalese goat curry - tender, and liked the peppery curry sauce. Chicken Tikka Masala was consistently enjoyable except the onions were a bit too chewy."

"The Chef at Great Indian wave knows how to temper spices to perfection and make beautiful sauces. Ive eaten lot of Indian food from restaurants across Melbourne and this is probably the best. The Rogan Josh is made with an exceptional spice blend and the meat is always good quality and quantity of pieces. The Eggplant & Potato (Medium Hot)is also a stand out dish, and the Palak Paneer is absolutely delicious. i find the Coconut Rice to be a favorite also. "Chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani(Boneless) was flavourful with tender chicken pieces. One of the best briyani I've had!"
"I ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani and I have been itching to write a review omg.
Listen, those of us who order from DoorDash know that most restaurants miss the mark. But not these guys oh hell nah.
The biryani was straight FIRE. It was piping hot by the time it was delivered, ultra flavourful, ultra fresh and y’all there was so much MEAT! For the price, I was only expecting a little but literally every bite had boneless meat in it! And there’s a free raita on the side HELLO!! The rice was nice and separated - no stickage whatsoever.
I’m SO impressed it’s unreal. Totally made my night.
This isn’t a paid review btw I didn’t even take photos. I was so starved and that biryani was EXACTLY how I wanted it to be.
The only teeny tiny suggestion I would wanna make is for the restaurant to add spice levels to the biryani or offer a green chilli add on for those of us who like a fire in their tum tum. I can appreciate how they kept the spice at a manageable level for the gen pop 🩷
I read in the reviews that this was a small female-owned business and that really sealed the deal for me. Always love supporting the girlies. Godspeed!!"

"Beef Do Piaza is one of my favourites here, so much meat in a rich sauce is just delicious. A little more expensive than some of the cheaper places but the quality and the quantity, full of big chunks of beef more than justify that.
