I was extremely disappointed receiving my much loved Sake Don tonight to see the portion of salmon essentially cut in half, but the price the same. I actually thought something was wrong, so I called to see if there was a mistake, but was informed the owner has made changes to portion sizes. What used to easily be a dish w 20 slices of salmon (so much you couldn't see a speck of rice below it!) now has 11. I understand costs need to be managed and portions may need tweaking, but this was shockingly drastic and disappointing."

"1 Star - Worst Chinese Food Ever
This was hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, and to make it worse, it was ridiculously expensive for what we got. I ordered boneless ribs, and the portion was laughable—maybe a 6oz container at best. The sweet and sour chicken had about five tiny pieces, and the orange sauce was nothing like it used to be—completely bland.
The steamed dumplings? Cold in the middle. The shrimp roll? Nowhere did it say it was fried, and it had a strong fishy taste—shrimp should never taste fishy.
For $60, this was an absolute rip-off. Never again. Save your money and go somewhere else"

My favorite meal here is the Ma Po Tofu. One time I ordered it and the owner happened to deliver it. He said that they make it the way it is made at home and if you find it made another way, especially with added ingredients (like peas, carrots, etc...), that is not the real way. As a BYOB we have shared a Saki with the owner who is always ready to make the visit special. I cannot recommend Bamboo enough!"
