"Oh my god it tasted like a Trinidadian aunty or grandma made this for me. I got chicken curry and Boneless Curry Chicken Roti separated and the Channa Chickpea Doubles. And it was insane. I'm indian and just move to NYC from NC have been having terrible luck finding good takeout indian food and learned that Trinidadian food is a must try. "I was not happy with the outcome of this order and DoorDash didn't provide a refund so I will be disputing the charge with my bank. The menu description is extremely misleading and the restaurant later lied about how the meal would arrive when I called to clarify. It says 16oz. I wasn't sure if that meant 16 oz of chicken or not and they told me that it was. It would be 4 pieces to be exact, 2 drums, thigh, wing. With your choice of 3 sides. As you can see, the meal only comes with 1 wing split in two and a half. All three sides shoved into a small container, not even a full serving of each. I could've ordered Chinese food and gotten a whole chicken wing combo with 4 whole wings for the same price. The worst part was the fact that everything was extremely bland. The rice was flavorless, the macaroni pie had no salt, the chicken was TERRIBLE. The best thing on the plate was the cabbage which was ironic because I had the least of it compared to everything else. I wouldn't recommend this spot at all for Caribbean food. Not one bit."
