I ordered from here because my Colombian coworker introduced me to their Empanada de Carne, it was absolutely amazing. Crispy shell , and soft tender potatoes and meat. God I love being Latina. Colombian food is great for a light palate and I think everyone should try this restaurant!

The meat in the Arepas (X2) was low and slow, tender, and delicious. In fact, the cabbage was some of the best i've ever had. There is novelty in the ridiculous, over prepared foods. The sandwich looked great and was a generous size, but unfortunately it missed the mark. The steak was overcooked (well done), making it very chewy and difficult to eat. It also could have used more seasoning. The bread was a little stale, which didn't help, and I wasn't able to finish the sandwich because the meat was so tough.
I'm Puerto Rican and grew up in Florida, so I've had my fair share of great steak sandwiches, and this one just didn't live up to my expectations. I'd definitely be willing to give Katie's another try because the food was hot and fresh overall, but next time I'll either order something different or request the steak cooked medium if that's an option."

"so this is my third time ordering from here. Last time I tried the hangar steak. The medium well was way too undercooked for my taste. I ordered again and selected well done and guess what? still red, lol. However it may just be the standard of the steak and it's not for my palate.
