"The food are incredibly good. I didn't expect the bread of The Velvet Elvis is made of thick well made french toast, which is a surprise. Even their home fries is the best among most diners in north jersey area. They use the right potato and the flavor is great with a bit of crispness. The Breakfast Wrap tastes good too. The avocado inside is very fresh. For the Egg and Cheese on a Roll, they really read what I put for the options. Many restaurants would just give you salt&pepper packets and the sandwich itself tastes bland. But this diner they put the condiments I requested into my roll. "I’m very disappointed with my recent order from Wallington Diner. I spent over $50 on breakfast, including pancakes and French toast, and they only provided three small syrups for the entire order.
I had to actually call the diner and request additional syrup. What makes this more frustrating is that the last time I ordered from them, they didn’t include any syrup at all.
When customers are spending over $50 on breakfast and ordering items like pancakes and French toast, enough syrup should automatically be included. Customers shouldn’t have to keep calling for something that obviously goes with the food.
I enjoy supporting local businesses, but attention to the small details matters—especially when it becomes a repeated issue. I hope Wallington Diner improves how they check and package their takeout and delivery orders."

"When most of the diners around the area plummeted in their food quality because of flation and post pandemic food depression, I was so happy and surprised that they haven't here.
Their portions are generous and they use clean oil. The Cheeseburger was perfect. The bun they use is high restaurant quality, the burger meat was cooked right, it's fresh, juicy, and meaty. It came with 2 big slices of juicy red tomatoes and actual fresh green leafy lettuce, not the cheap iceberg kind everybody uses.
The Prime Rib French Dip was generously portioned with piled high meat and cheese. The only issue I had with this that it was very salty. The bread was soft and crusty on the outside. Wonderful texture and flavor.
The fries were great, you can tell that they clean their oil daily because the fries looked clean and not tanned from old oil. You can also smell and taste that the fries were not over fried. Everywhere else always over fry and over salt it too much. I like how they didn't do that here. Awesome.
The Mashed Potato was a pleasant surprise. It's actual hand mashed little red potatoes! Loved it.
This is my personal new favorite diner now. Thank you for keeping the prices fair but importantly delivering on quality which rarely exists now.
Last thing, I really like that they don't over use those one time use plastic containers/packages that are horrible for the environment. "
