"honestly i was more than satisfied with my order snd would def order again. i order the Fried Chicken and Waffle and had another Belgian Waffle on the side. the combination came with two reakky big thigh pieces, a drumstick & a full wing. i was anticipating some disappointment with the chicken but it was so crunchy and thoroughly seasoned and not to wet but not dry at all!! waffles were really thick fluffy, perfectly sweet i can tell they have a good batter. i asked for extra butter bc i as unaware of their portions but they gave plenty.

"The New York Steak was cooked to perfection. It also comes with a hefty portion of hash browns, 2 eggs, and toast. The Denver omelette is also a pretty hefty serving size as was the hash browns. I got mine with an English muffin which all came with the omelette order. We always get an order of Onion Rings when eating here because they are a great value and the best I've found in SF so far. The amount you get is always more than 1 person would need. Great to share! I also got great value with the Biscuits and Gravy orders. I ordered extra so I could give a couple orders away so I appreciate the value I received. I ended up eating one order and they were as good as I expected. They consistently have great taste. "It was late night, so I wasn't expecting much - but this was absolutely the worst.
I ordered a Chicken and Beef Burrito that was described as; "Flavorful burrito filled with a juicy combination of seasoned chicken and beef, wrapped in a warm tortilla. Serving with Yellow Rice, Pino Beans, Tomatoes, Red Onions." I add sour cream for an additional $1.99. The burrito was stuffed with French fried potatoes. There was no chicken and very little beef. The burrito was basically soggy french fries wrapped in a flour tortilla. The sour cream I paid extra for was missing from the burrito.
The picture of the jalapeño poppers gave me the impression that they'd be a cut above what one would normally expect. For $13.99 they were the lowest grade you could possibly find. Jack in the Box has better poppers for $6.79
The Frozen Tiramisu was advertised as 'buy one get one free.' I bought one but did not get one for free. I have to say it was good. However, my roommate wanted to try it as well and I was going to give him the free one. I make tiramisu often, using the New York Times classic tiramisu recipe and he wanted to compare mine with the frozen one offered here.
I really find it hard to believe that a place like this could be in business. A french fry burrito for $15.95, the worst poppers I've ever had for $13.99 and an ok tiramisù that was falsely advertised. Everything that I ordered was completely misrepresented on the menu, basically fraud. "

"Extremely disappointed to see that my Chile Relleno Burrito with chicken, and no rice, which cost $22, turned out to be the tiniest burrito I've ever gotten at a taqueria. I order burritos without rice from other places all the time. Some are "slightly" smaller, but most are generally the same size. This one, however, was comparable to a Taco Bell burrito, or a baby burrito that some taquerias offer. It was incredibly small. I finished it in less than 3 minutes, then had to look for something else to eat.
I used to be a semi-regular customer before COVID. Once they reopened after the pandemic, I found their serving system to be so awkward, fearful, and unfriendly that I decided not to return until they resumed normal operations. We'd returned once since then, and my family all agreed that portions were on the smaller side. I suppose this is their way of dealing with the rising cost of running a business.
As they are a locally-owned business that is in my neighborhood, I really wanted to give them another chance, and I feel like I just got ripped off. The food quality was excellent, but there wasn't enough of it to justify charging such a high price. "
