"First time trying Umami Ramen and I can definitely say I will be ordering it again. I tried the R2. Spicy Tonkotsu (Thin Noodles), the Onigiri - Tuna, and the Oolong Tea (bottle). The Spicy Tonkotsu ramen was a 10/10 for me! I ordered it mild and itstill had a spicy kick but the broth was rich and flavorful. The Pork Chashu was tender too! The noodles were bouncing which was a fun surprise being that I've never had ramen noodles this texture before. The Tuna Onigiri was a nice complement to the spiciness of the ramen broth. It was a first time trying onigiri for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. The rice had a stickiness to it and the tuna was flavorful and not dry at all which I will say I was expecting but it was so good! Lastly, the Oolong Tea to wrap up the whole meal. It was tasty, light and my ideal choice of beverage to wash down a delicious meal. For a first time experience with Umami Ramen, it gets a 10/10 from me. The food's quality, the tastes, and overall presentation were remarkable. I will definitely be back. Strongly suggest! "

Fell apart each piece we ate. Provided a small serving of Miso Soup. Not anywhere near the quality and serving size we are used to. Have been enjoying Taiko Sushi for years but something has changed. Not to mention sushi rolls that once use to be around $10 now being sold for $20. Ordered two rolls, two pieces of Ebi and two pieces of Sea Steak with Miso Soup and Combo Tempura for $90. Crazy. My husband tried some & said it was delicious too, & I noticed they have ingredients that most other places don't, like tempura unagi & tempura oysters & unique kinds of fish. Most was canned., the chicken was almost a mush and in very small pieces, the corn had a slight withered texture. the black beans were good. The lettuce was fairly good. I had extra seeds and they seemed fresh. I know I won't revisit this restaurant again. I could make a salad at home with quality canned goods. These were not even quality goods."

"The food and drinks from this place are amazing . My favorite is the S5. Fresh Mango Pomelo Sago . The La Vina Cheesecake Slice was small but delicious, I think the small slice is a perfect size for a person craving something sweet. The Portuguese tarts 4 pieces are delicious as well. I ordered towards the end of the day, so they only had 3 left, due to being 1 short they threw in two other sweet pastries to make up for it. "No matter what kind of meat you order, it is all the same colo r, and everything is tasteless. Portion sizes are so small. The Styrofoam box was filled with cabbage and a little of orange chicken. If you go to Asian &Cajun or China house in Citrus Heights, you get twice the amount of food , and everything comes in a Styrofoam container. This place is ripping you off. My bill was $75 , and it was not worth it at all."
