"For what I'm paying for I wasn't expecting 3 tiny baby back ribs with a sour bbq glaze or 4 tiny lemon pepper wings.
The cornbread was a massive portion with 5 pieces given to me but it was extremely dense and dry. Also don't understand the 4 slices of plain white bread in addition but that was also a lot compared to what I got as the mains.

"I got the 3 Meat, 3 Sides Platter Combo because it was bogo. I requested all items to be separate due to photos in reviews where items had spilled over. The restaurant followed the instructions. Portions were big and hearty. The freshness was varied but to be fair I ordered late at night. So maybe it would have been fresher earlier.
Food reviews:
Fried Okra- softer than I prefer but the batter and flavor were good it just needed to be fried a bit longer.
Potato salad- super runny but good flavor. Typical potato texture but would have been better if was thick and not runny.
Baked Beans- also extremely runny and the flavor profile was terrible. It tasted more like pinto beans cooked in a ham bone.
Macaroni- other reviews said flavorless but I disagree. There was quite a bit of flavor to it but again it was runny. Almost like noodles in queso.
Corn on the Cob- this tasted maybe like it was grilled flavor was alright but it just tasted like corn not buttery or seasoned but was obviously frozen
Chopped brisket- large portion but I can see where the other reviews compared it to beef jerky. Not in texture or dryness but flavor profile. It wasn't especially soft or greasy.
Pulled pork- this was more like chopped pork than pulled. Not the traditional pulled apart style like a cheese stick but chunks of meat. Flavor was ok but not what you'd expect.
Riblets- these were the best meat hands down. Prepared correctly with good flavor and the perfect char.
Bbq Sauce- we got hot honey on all of our meat as the sauce. It tasted more like just honey bbq. The sauce was a super small portion and poured on top of the meat. I would recommend the restaurant send the sauce in portioned cups rather than on the meat."

The Rib Tips (BBQ) were tender and juicy - easily some of the best l've had. The Ten Kings Bone-in Combos were spot on, especially the Mango Habanero and Spicy Lemon Pepper flavors - spicy, tangy, and full of flavor. The substitution for the boneless combos with bone-in was no problem at all — still absolutely delicious.
The House Onion Rings and Mozzarella Sticks were the perfect sides - crispy, golden, and super satisfying.
Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Overall, I'd 100% recommend this place. Great portions, great flavors, and great service. Will definitely be ordering again!"

When I bit into the burrito, it had avocado slices in it that I didn't order and didn't want. At least I found out what the mysterious, unitemized charge was. The charge itself never showed on the receipt from the restaurant.

The jerk chicken though was a 6/10 at best, the seasoning was good but I don't like that the chicken is shredded and not in juicy chunks as the advertised picture. The chicken being shredded isn't as good quality and the price should reflect that. Many other spots have the same price as this place and have better quality chicken as chunks or drumsticks and also include rice under so at that point I would go to a different place. If I came here again, I would order something else next time as long as it's not shredded meat and I wish they posted a more accurate picture representing the plate."

"Wow we just gave the new Hummus Republic a try today for the first time and we were blown away with how fresh and delicious everything was!
The pita was the best I've ever had! It was jam packed, but thoughtfully so and structurally held up extremely well. The pita bread was soft and delicious. All of the veggies were fresh and tasty, the lamb and the harissa hummus were perfect.
We also ordered a bowl with the chicken shawarma which was also very good but we agreed the pita was the super star. We ordered the pita chips with 4 of the different hummus options and those were incredible. Absolutely loved the pita chips, the texture was 10/10, soft but crunchy with the za'tar seasoning, they were so good just on their own. Our favorite hummus was hands down the harissa flavor, as well as the original.
So happy to have Hummus Republic in Surprise! We desperately needed a delicious, fresh, healthy option out here and you hit all the marks and then some! Can't wait to go back again!"
