"Amazing food and great portions. Butter Chicken comes with side of white rice in a container. Garlic Naan is soft and fresh. Food is always warm and tastes fresh! I get mild spice and it is full of flavor. I order medium spicy before and was accidentally given something too spicy so be careful with that. Besides that, it is great place to go "
"Urban Tandoor has NEVER disappointed. Fresh, hot food on delivery & in restaurant. I LOVE this establishment. I buy the Chicken 65 Biryani with 2 Garlic Naan and I & request the butter chicken sauce on the side. SOOO GOOD! And they are not stingy with the food... You get your monies worth & extra!"

"I ordered the Chilli Garlic noodles as well as the Raj Kachori. The noodles are the best I've had. They're fresh, very tasty and quite honestly loved how spicy they were (they were Indian spicy!!!) so it's as advertised! The Raj Kachori is also delicious so now I'm curious about their other chat options. The portions are also very filling and I'm definitely going to keep coming back for more food from here! worth every penny!"
"Veg Noodles were burnt.. stale, cooked in old spoiled oil. Chili Paneer is like some paneer pieces mixed in india gravy. Veg momos ordered came fried, soggy and oily even when it says steamed in the description"

"Amazing sambhar which is tough to find in jersey city. Medu Vada / Sambar Vada with 4oz sambar and 2 oz chutneys was appropriately soft, moist and crunchy.
Mysore Masala Dosa was decent, appropriate masala. "
"The quantity and quality of the items are subpar compared to the prices associated with the items.
The Bhaturas are really a slightly larger poori, which is way too thin for a bhatura.
The paneer butter masala came with literally 2-3 spoons of rice."

"the Paneer Masala Sandwich: is the best sandwich I have had in New Jersey in the last 6 years."
"We ordered 2 gravy and chose chapati instead of 3 slices of bread.
They sent ONE skinny chapati for each gravy dish (no idea how it replaces 3 whole slices of bread in quantity or quality).
This may be known to locals but for tourists it's misleading.
When quizzed the restaurant owner dared me to write a review and so here it is. Avoid unless you want to be yelled at for not being a local.
Service - terrible
Communication and customer relations- terrible
Food portions- poor
Food quality- good
Overall: Matches budget airlines in trying to extract every penny from you"

"The Chana Saag is absolutely the best & the Vegetable Spring Rolls are so good! They usually give a small portion of rice with the saag so I always have to make more of my own or buy their side of rice but it would be nice if it came with an appropriate portion of rice for how big the entree is. But even still, their food is the best Indian food I've had!"
"I used to order from here all the time bc their Plain Naan is good. But tonight that was the only good part of my meal. The Veg Samosas were so tiny I used to eat only one and save the rest for lunch the next day but today they are half the size they used to be. The chicken vindaloo was closer to ketchup and franks red hot sauce than any actual Indian spices. The potatoes in the vindaloo were perfect circles as if they were out of a can. And the chicken was really fatty dark meat, all this for $40. I want the best for this place but today was not it."

"Tasted pretty good, similar to the ones in Manhattan. Felt like the roti was too oily though. But why so stingy with the raita sauce? I barely got any for $2 extra and it was not enough for the 3 rolls I got."
"It wasn't tasty. Indian food with gravy shouldn't be so dry. The basmati rice base should have more water in it while cooking so that it doesn't lose its moisture by evening"

"The Goat Curry was spicy despite putting mild, but the flavor and tenderness of the meat was delicious. The Butter Chicken wasn't visibly appealing and the sauce was a little overpowering but the chicken itself was cooked thoroughly, not dry at all and flavor was there. The naan was delicious."

"The food was very good, especially the chicken Gongura."
"Have tried three times now, the food and packing continues to be poor. Gobi 65 is just fried cauliflower without any taste. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Khoya Kaju Curry were watery and no salt. No where close to Restuarant quality food. On top food is always late."

"Never thought paratha juncyion near journal square will have the best parath outs Delhi. Chilli Cheese Paratha is a must have here, recommend 11/10!!!!"
"Tried this place for the first time and it turned out to be a pretty good experience. I know it is a paratha place and haven't tried any of them yet.
The Tandoori Chicken was the highlight of the meal. It tasted fresh, flavorful, and the half portion came with a generous quantity. With the BOGO deal, it felt like a great value.
The Chicken Biryani was also tasty, came in a good portion size, and was part of the BOGO offer too, which made it an even better deal. I was a little surprised it did not come with onion raita or salan on the side.
The only real disappointment was the Moong Dal Halwa - A’la Carte Portion . It arrived cold, tasted a bit stale, and I would not recommend it.
Overall, the positives stood out more than the negatives and I would definitely order from here again."

"I want to point out that I've never had any of this before save for the samosas which were so good. The filling was delicious and quite a lot. The paneer makhani was so creamy, slightly sweet, and the cheese (paneer?) was amazing. 10/10. Garlic naan was really good too and perfect with the paneer makhani. The paneer also came with a bowl of white rice, (I think it was basmati) and another bowl of rice with a mix of lentils. Not entirely sure but it had a distinct taste that I haven't had before but it was good! The pani puri was something I've wanted to try for a while. It came with I think a tamarind sweet sauce which I wasn't expecting. I assumed it would be something spicy. It wasn't bad, but I personally wanted a more savory flavor. Overall, this was amazing but if you wanted a more savory option with the pani puri, I'd say maybe hold on to that. "
"Raj Kachori Chaat - there is no much filling of boil patatoes, chana, there is not much flavor.
Sev Puri Dahi Puri (SPDP) - puri was not good.

"ChChicken Tikka Masala + Basmati Rice has good flavor, lots of sauce and big pieces of chicken. The Chicken Bombay Biryani is good. It was a little spicy but not unbearable. ThePalak Chana + Basmati Rice was good but the Chana could have been a littlw softer."
"Prices were much higher than most places--over $100 for just a few things, so you would expect a larger quantity than you get. For instance the Paneer Kaju Makhani was mostly sauce & cashews & bot that much paneer. Mixed grill could have been more quantity for that price too but at least it was a good variety (a couple types of chicken, a bit of shrimp, couple pieces of lamb & salmon) and mostly tasted good except for the chewy lamb (I dont really like salmon but in this case found it more edible than the lamb). The Steamed Chicken Momo - comes with side of spicy sauce was pretty good, the Garlic Naan & laacha Lachha Paratha & Mango Lassi were all fine if not memorable. "

"Dosas were probably good, but an hour n half long late delivery by Door dash spoiled the experience for me. they were cold and chewy. Mysore Masala Dosa was good, didn't like the Onion Rava Dosa , it could use some salt/flavour."

"The sandwiches are great."
"I ordered pani puri, specifically for the water, which is the main part of the dish. But what I received was so disappointing—only about 100 ml, barely any at all. This is supposed to be a generous, flavorful water, and I was really looking forward to it. I waited so long and spent my money, and it was just a letdown. Also ordered. Kachumber it's just diced tomato and onion. I don't even taste the lemon"
