"good quality, good portions esp considering how expensive everything is these days, even with DD Charge and 15 dollar tip, we had 2 orders drunken noodles (xtra chicken and noodles added in price) 2 orders pork larb. satay, shrimp Thai tea. we used some coupons from DD, but with all of that we spent a bit under 90 dollars- if this sounds too pricey, keep in mind that unless youre a HUGE eater, you could easily stretch out what we bought for two or even three meals for two people, plus we paid for the convenience of delivery. all meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly well. except for thesatay, it was a bit dry, but I would still order it again- sauce is excellent. drunk noodles great standard what you'd expect . I prefer mine a bit saucier, but they were by no means dry, the larb was also very good impressed at the intensity of the flavor. I only wish the portions were a bit larger, but at $11 it was more than fair. i am a spice seeker and chose 8 heat will get 10 next time"

Now the calamari, it was so very over fried. When you bit in ,the crust showered down on the plate like broken glass, just a pile of crunchy flavorless pieces. The calamari should have been delicate and chewy, it was like chewing old rubber bands, so flavorless and almost impossible to chew .I never leave reviews and certainly not bad ones, but I hope the cook sees this and really tries to never let it happen again. "My partner and I have been going to Ali Baba's for over seven years now, ever since we lived in a tiny little apartment in downtown Lincoln. When we lived in that little apartment at the end of COVID, we would treat ourselves occasionally just to make ourselves feel better in such hard times, and we would walk down to Ali Baba's and order a couple gyros and some extra meat for later in the week. It was so affordable, and we would easily get six meals out of all of it. Not only is it affordable, it's delicious, and it's delicious every single time. One of the most consistent restaurants we have ever gone to. The owner is a very kind gentleman, who recognized me because of how frequently I would get food from him. Bless him, he is not allowed to die, his food is fantastic and he is so kind and I wouldn't know what to do with out this restaurant.
