"I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the ramen. The dish was missing kikurage (wood ear mushrooms), which is a standard ingredient I expected. Instead, the bowl was filled with an excessive amount of low-quality bean sprouts that overwhelmed the other ingredients.
The pork chashu was also very disappointing. It was dry, tough, and lacked the tenderness and flavor that good chashu should have. Overall, the ramen felt poorly prepared and did not meet the quality I expected, especially considering the price.
Unfortunately, this experience did not live up to the restaurant’s reputation, and I hope the kitchen pays more attention to ingredient quality and consistency in the future."

"The Tonkotsu Ramen 豚骨拉面 was very good! The broth is nice and savory tasting on its own, but the udon noodles I opted for really kick it up a couple tiers. They're cooked perfectly, with the slightest bit of a chew (which I personally prefer), but still plump and tasty.
I opted for pork chashu for my protein and I swear I'm not exaggerating when I say this, Good Chef makes my favorite chashu out of like the 10 ramen shops I frequent. It's squishy, but they keep some meat on the cut and sear it which gives it a mind blowing flavor.
The rest of the toppings were very nice tasting, not overpowering, and not soggy. I have to note the diligence in the way this restaurant packages their ramen. They package the broth separate from the noodles and toppings, so they won't get mushy in transit.
I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Absolutely fantastic and recommend for anyone trying to get into Asian or Japanese cuisine, or a regular ramen eater looking for another S-tier bowl to try out."
