Piled high with thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned chopped beef, melted cheese all the way through, and their signature mayo-based sauce on a fresh-baked Ambrosia roll that is soft inside with just the right chew on the outside. It holds up to all that meat and cheese without falling apart. Absolute perfection.
You can tell they do it right — the meat is hot and juicy on the flat top, the cheese is fully melted in, the roll is toasted. And it’s HUGE. This will absolutely fill you up.
Service was fast and friendly even though they were slammed, and I love that they’re open late. That takeout kitchen at 119 Spring St Suite 2 is a lifesaver for downtown Charleston late-night cravings. I ordered ahead for curbside pickup and it was ready in minutes.
A Taste of Philly Down South is exactly what they promise. If you’re craving a Wizard, a Super Chicken Cheesesteak, or just the classic, don’t go anywhere else in Charleston.

"Was surprised by this little market grocer out by Tanger. Your typical americanized gyro this is not, and for the better. Ton of flavor and just a little spice in there, really good and fairly priced. Loved the salad. Was sort of a garden salad/tabouli fusion (chopped finely) with fresh parsley, was tasty. The fries were a little limp and lack luster but who cares, they're fries. Baklava was on the small side but fresh and delicious. All in all a really nice dinner and I enjoy supporting local. Make an at-home omelette. Waffle was fine but also no strawberrries, they threw in blueberries instead so not as described. Inconsistent place - you won't get what you ordered quite as you thing. In the past when drastic mistakes were made I called the restaurant directly to offer feedback because they lost money on my order being so wrong. The manager didn't care. So..."

"I wouldn't bother spending your money on what I ordered. When trying a new place I tend to get something simple, hard to be poorly made. The Pechuga Bonita was devoid of any flavor other than thick, wet, dirty smoke, being a Colombian restaurant, I was hoping for a wonderful and flavorful spice palette...no such luck. I don't know what their "special oven" is all about, but it's butchering their food. The Champ Filet was tough, unseasoned, and had the same heavy wet smoke flavor. Even the fries on the side were sad, and completely unseasoned with not so much as salt. Both dishes came with fries and salad, with no separation in the packaging. Over all, not a worthwhile experience."
