"The Greek salad is USUALLY so delicious, but it was not this time! This time it was REALLY disappointing. There was mostly wilted, soggy lettuce (under the top layer), not as much feta as usual, it had olives when it wasn't supposed to, and the portion was smaller than usual. I should've called the restaurant, but I didn't because I was so tired, hungry and annoyed.
Luckily I also ordered a personal size cheese pizza and that was delicious."

Portions made no sense -- ordered calamari, order was about 10 pieces which is too small for the cost.
Nonna's meatballs came with two meatballs and about 1.5 pounds of overcooked linguine. Ordered extra grilled chicken which wasn't with the order.
Also got a salad with no complaints from the wife.
We really want to like this place, but it's consistently inconsistent, with quality making no sense. For the price, order from Viron."

With a Neapolitan crust, this amount
of vegetables would have made it
soggy. But with Zois, the cake-like
Greek crust, absorbed water given
off by the veggies and still remained
crispy and toothsome. The large
portion of cheese balanced the lack
of processed meats. So Zois makes
it easier to eat healthy !
A similar story for the Veggie Flor-
entine. Veggies give off more water
per item, but the Greek crust had a
firm and dry undercarriage and the
rim was crunchy and toast-like.

"The calzone was tiny compared to others in this area for the cost. It also lacked ricotta cheese. There was barely any in there so it was basically just mozzarella which was weird and unenjoyable. I ordered a shrimp and broccoli alfredo whoever's in the kitchen has no idea how to make Alfredo sauce. the broccoli was so overcooked it just disintegrated to mush when you try to touch it they were like three shrimp which were tiny and it is a starchy white milk sauce with absolutely no Alfredo flavor. I'm not a complainer but when I spend $80 for two entrees I expect them to be edible. my wife ordered veal franchise in the veal taste like it's been frozen for 3 weeks and way overcooked. whoever is in your kitchen you should fire them tonight. I do not mind spending money on a good meal. we visited butcher Brothers in Cheshire last week and had two steak dinners and it was $280 so I have no problems spending money on good food but the food of Giovanni's is garbage"

That's important because I see & smell & deliver pizza from 90% of the pizza places.
For a truly amazing version of a New York Medium Pizza order from these folks. Period.
In the picture I pulled apart a slice to show the 'goo', but hear this. The best highest quality best pizza mozzarella is not white and stringy, it's a warm yellow cheese with more texture *and* flavor.
Their dough itself is not NY style, it's New Haven thicker more of a bread feel, but they soft bake so the texture of the pie is soft and stretchy and not a blackened blistered crunchy pie. Just my opinion after 67 yrs on the planet New Haven style is great, I just personally never liked it.
Their pizza sauce is naturally sweet, I've been a line chef & I know when a sauce's sweetness is from the highest quality tomatoes, and not from added sweeteners (yes many do that).

Wasn't bad but wasn't spectacular either. Very crunchy crust, ham is like deli meat cut up, very little cheese, and they didn't put on the basil, onion, or peppers it was supposed to come with. I was still charged for the extra toppings I added. I wouldn't have minded had they added all the toppings.
I did have it delivered so my driver may not have kept it warm. I don't fault the restaurant for that. I wish they would tape it closed for deliveries though."
