"I have to start by saying that if you haven't tried the Tijuana Tuna yet, you're truly missing out and I mean this with every fiber of my being. I literally couldn't help myself and devoured it in less than 10 minutes and I almost never finish my sandwiches. Every bite was packed with juicy, flavorful tuna salad which had a perfect hint of cilantro lime. And don't even get me started on the fresh fillings of corn, tomatoes and green chilis. It was an absolute explosion of flavors that complemented each other so well. I had to take several pictures to show what ya'll been missing out on.
Oh and the brownie? Stood no chance against me. Great portion for the price and just look at it. It’s chocolatey, rich, fudgey and everything you could possibly want in a brownie. I am also not a huge fan of sweets, but this was actually tolerable and didn’t taste like pure sugar and diabetes.
Dad’s sandwiches can take my money any day. I can’t even imagine how the other options taste-everything is just extremely worth it. Definitely coming back to this hidden gem. My only advice is to make sure you’re near a bathroom before you eat this. "

I tried the Turnpike sandwich, but it just wasn't for me. I found the salami to be a little overpowering and salty. The bread was tough and difficult to chew through, and I’m not sure if the cheese was even included. Definitely made for people who enjoy a meatier and heartier filling, though!
I also thought their standard Brownie was delicious, but the 'fancy' version stole my heart. It has the perfect gooeyness, a satisfying crunch from the nuts, and a hint of sweetness from the caramel. But my favorite part was the thin layer of graham crackers at the bottom; it brought everything together in the most mouthwatering way. I swear that no other brownie can compare to this one.

I was able to take in about 1500 cal, 132g protein, 90 carbs and 68g fat and I already feel so much better and have half left. You can be cheap and go to other places and get something easy but if your goal is to eat clean, spend the money if you don't have the time. "I've always wanted to try the Porch. Tonight I finally did! I got the buttermilk chicken with two sides and mac and cheese. I spent nearly $50 plus the driver tip. Here's my review.
The chicken was a solid 8. Would eat again. It was juicy and tender. It was covered, after cooking, in salt and pepper. If you're on a low-salt diet, this is not the food for you. But the S&P after-bath makes all the difference. While the chicken is juicy, it lacks the right flavor without it. I got three pieces-- a leg, a huge thigh, and a huge breast. Excellent portions.
My sides were the biscuit and gravy and mashed potatoes. First, the biscuits were good and large. Two large biscuits. A solid 7.5. They could use a butter bath after baking for flavor, but they weren't dry. Both jam and butter were included as small extras... not enough for the biscuits as a whole but it added needed flavor for as long as it lasted. I'm not a jam person, but I enjoyed this one. The gravy lacked flavor. Maybe a four. Supposedly a sausage gravy, because I did see sausage, but there was no spice palate to it. Since I'm at home, I can fix that, but in a restaurant, it would be disappointing.
My potatoes were fine but needed both seasonings and mashing. I had two whole potatoes in my container surrounded by other mashed potatoes. All skins left on. Again, easy to season and fix at home, but as is, a 4.
Finally, the Mac and Cheese. I was disappointed to get a dish without breadcrumbs, as noted in the description. it would have added needed texture, but also, could have upset the dish by the time it was delivered, so a toss-up. It's a five. Again, light on seasoning. an obvious post-cooking layer of black pepper, but it lacked the kick I expected. Perhaps it lacked a sharp cheddar to add some tang. If I ordered again, would add bacon and/or the BBQ pork. I added bacon to it at home myself and it improved. If you're reading this, do it.
My rankings weren't high, but I'm giving this place a four overall. I won't eat it all in one sitting, but it will be eaten. They used some environmentally friendly dishes, and it would probably hit differently getting it at a table while hot from the kitchen. I would want to try other things from their menu before I write this restaurant off. As I picked a pretty Southern-sounding selection for dinner, be warned that it doesn't have the flavor and kick of traditional Southern dishes. A little cayenne in the chicken, onion and butter in the potatoes, and some extra kick in the gravy would make all the difference. But I wouldn't kick this chicken out of my kitchen if it suddenly showed up."

"The quesabirria taco was fire! So delicious the tortilla was nice and crispy and juice ! And they serve it with pickled onions and it's bomb. The Plato de flautas was also really delicious they are stuffed really well with chicken and good portion of rice and beans. The huevos con chorizo is where I feel it was lacking it was dry, there wasn't much egg in there and it didn't have cheese .... I know it's suppose to be dry but I mean it was more chorizo then egg and it just looked like the chorizo was over cooked and it didn't have any cheese. Other then that the food was good. "

"First time ordering from here (natomas' chicken & waffle) and I was not disappointed after placing a DD order shortly before restaurant closing (less than 10 min...)! The order was correct, the food arrived HOT AND it was delicious. The cornbread wasn't what I expected - it was more like Corn Bread "Texas toast style" but it was good, lol. The Banana Pudding was on point and the Oxtail with gravy and rice was tender, seasoned well and a nice sized portion. I would and will order again :)) Thanks for satisfying the late night craving!"

"OMG! The beefy feast came with so much food, we will happily be eating this for days. Everything was sooo delicious! The short rib was fall apart tender, the ribeye had a Hawaiian bbq flavor and stayed perfectly cooked through delivery. All the sides were next level. I haven't even eaten dessert yet because I'm stuffed but everything was so amazing already. Well worth the price! It was enough to feed four well so it comes to about $25 each which for steak, short rib and TONS of sides (that taste amazing) is such a good price! Thank you all for making our valentines at home so delicious!"
"Side steak had AMAZING flavor. This was my first time ordering it and it will definitely become a part of my new usual because it was delicious. I don't know what they used to marinate to steak but it is 10/10, possibly some sweet soy kind or marinade? Idk but it was subtle and perfect to where I still enjoyed the actual steak flavor. I did get the side steak so just know it isn't a big portion, maybe only 5 slices if I remember? But for $14 that's pretty good.
Other item I always get, my non negotiable for everytime I eat here, is the mac and cheese. I hate mac and cheese and this is the only one that I not only like but LOVE. Everyone I have brought here immediately agrees as well.
