"I have a mostly love-sometimes dislike- relationship with this place lol! Some items are AMAZING, and some are very underwhelming imo! For now I'm just going to review the 2 new things I tried today, the canele pastries! They were SO good. Like so good I'm mad bc they arent cheap! I wasnt sure what to expect but they were delightful. For the price (at least on DD) I was surprised at how tiny they are, but the flavor makes it worth it! A rich, toasted-slightly burnt tasting (in the best way), crunchy, caramelized outer shell. It says a custard type filling but it was more of a light, soft, airy, moist doughy center, than a smooth custard. It was an amazing! Tasted like a very high quality vanilla/caramelized pasty that is to die for! The matcha latte was standard. Not very sweet or strong, but I added brown sugar syrup which made it much better! For 2 canele's and a matcha latte with my dash pass was $33! Ouch lol.. pricey for such small pastries, but worth it for the great flavor! Definitely a special treat and overall recommend:) "

The rice portion was a generous and also tasted good. The Afghan Bread is HUGE. I thought it was going to be pita sized so I got two. One bread is the size of three pitas! "Carne Asada Fries were super good and loaded as shown in the pictures they provided. It was also seasoned very well and the sauces just make it all the better. However, like others said, they do skimp out on the toppings. I had to add extra guacamole and sour cream to make it flavorful- if I didn't, I'd imagine it being more on the drier side.

"I ordered the Fasolakia, Mix Shawarma, and Lamb & Beef Village Gyro. The Mix Shawarma is a combination of lamb, beef, and chicken with lettuce, onions, tomatoes and a yogurt and cucumber based sauce, Tzatziki. You can adjust the spice level. It is different than the gyro as its closed like a burrito with a thinner bread and the gyro is open face with a thicker pita. The gyro is the same toppings but only lamb and beef. The shawarma and gyro were not oily and were decently filled. Both come with extra tzatziki! Very tasty and filling so I would recommend both! "
