"First time I've eaten food prepared by Avatar IndianGrill. What an enjoyable , flavorful quantity of thoughtfully prepared Tandoori Chicken with jasmine rice and Garlic Naan. I'm a new patron. I was convinced when I saw how it was presented as a delivery. The chicken was laid over slices of onions and in the other section of the container, was mixed lettuce varieties and lemon wedges. It really made the meal so enjoyable in my hands to tear off a little piece of the naan with some onion slice, a pinch of lettuce along with the delicious chicken sprinkled with some lemon, and a big spoonful of the rice. Wow! Life is good, retirement is better and for the price I highly recommend Avatar Indian Grill for good food."
"The Butter Chicken was extremely disappointing in the amount of actual chicken provided. It was just all sauce and a few, tiny bits of shredded chicken. Not at all enough for a meal, and definitely not worth $15. I've ordered it before and it wasn't like that at all, not sure what's changed. Also the Butter Cilantro Naan was not fresh and tasted like it had just been reheated. "

"This is by far the worst ramen and sushi I have tasted. The ramen is no better than cup-o-noddles, and gas station sushi tastes better. The Tonkotsu Ramen had a strange taste and smell and the chasu tasted like back yard BBQ. Their sushi even included a slab of fish they forgot in the box. 2 Tonkotsu Ramen and 2 rolls came out to $80. Avoid this place and wait for it to shut its doors."

"Food tasted great. But, as with most delivered food, the meal showed up a little soggy from sweating in the plastic containers. The two chicken tender sliders were cooked well, not dry, and the seasoning was pretty good. Hot was HOT. Medium was a great middle ground 👌🏻 Not sure how anyone could eat the two other spice levels above HOT. 🥵 Extra Fries weren't anything special tbh. Reminded me of seasoned Applebee's fries or similar. The Angry Mac was really good. The Mac is creamy and the chicken still stands out. Didn't taste the chickz sauce through the other flavors tho.

"6/20/26: Ordering from Vallarta Supermarket La Cocina will try their Menudo from here. I’ve tried several restaurants for their Menudo; 1) Sarita’s Mexican grill, Monterey {$15.99}, comes with small cut up pieces of meat, tripe, Hominy and spices with cilantro 🌿, diced onions, oregano, and crushed red chili 🌶️ peppers. Served in a styrofoam container with tortillas for a side. Tasted okay but nothing that you’d be excited about. 2) Taqueria Zarape, Seaside {$15.25} comes in a large plastic container which is always filled up with the BEST TASTING, FLAVORED, FRESHNESS pieces of meat and tripe🥇😋😘 which are big. The juice / sauce is really flavored and give you Cilantro, diced onions, oregano, and crushed red chili 🌶️ peppers with Tortilla on the side. It’s so good always looking forward to weekend to re order again and again. BEST VALUE 🤑 3) Mexico Maxico, Salinas~ Salas {$22.76} comes in a paper container filled up but very oily juice. Very little meat and/or tripe. The Spanish rice was very odd taste and tastes like they used cilantro. Overall I didn’t enjoy the menudo from Mexico Maxico and would not order from here again. In addition to ordering the Menudo {Weekend only} I ordered the Aguas Fresca 24 oz. bottled Horchata {$5.99}, Ensalada Papa {$5.99}, and Flour Chicharron Pinwheels 4 oz {$3.69}. Definitely cheaper for the Menudo than Mexico Maxico {$22.76} which is very oily.

Order arrived, delivered in a large brown paper bag. Wow! Glad it wasn’t 2 hours to deliver from Salinas~Salas{10.6 miles}. Orders from this place Arrived I’ve experienced the food being good and bad depending on who prepares it. I never been , to this place but I believe it’s a grocery store that sells different prepared dishes🤔. The Menudo was not in a 24 oz container as stated on the menu. Arrived lukewarm , it did come with onions, cilantro, crushed chile pepper. Very little amount of meat and/or tripe. Not very flavorful, I wouldn’t order the menudo from here.Looking for good menudo? Order from Taqueria Zarape, it’s worth waiting for the delivery. The Agua Fresca was delicious nice and sweet. Potato salad was good with nice chunks of diced potatoes. Everything I ordered was good except for the menudo."
