"Some assembly is required but it's totally worth it. I mixed the two containers of broth (spicy and regular) miso and tonkotsu and reheated (arrives warm but must heat it to cook the veg and meat - to be hot pot at home). Added one container of veggies and noodles (im not sure the difference between California and regular veggies - seemed the same to me). Once veggies were cooked I added the meat which I ordered raw. I chopped up the meat before adding it. I also added about half the extra garlic and chili paste I received, and finally the green onions last. I put a little rice at the bottom of my serving bowl and used chopsticks (provided upon request) and my own japanese spoons. Then put a portion of the dipping sauce in side containers for dipping the meat and veg. I might chop the veggies a bit more next time to make it easier to eat. I will 10/10 do this again, but im not sure how one would assemble this outside of home. I have a full container of veggies, most of the rice, and the dipping sauce left and will be turning this into a stir fry as leftovers. Plus the original 2 portions ordered made 3 potions of the soup. Absolutely great quality and fantastic for me since I was a bit congested. "

This is one of our favorites now. Their buns (fresh or steam at home frozen) are amazing. Other favorites are the MaPo tofu and sautéed green beans. If you love tea eggs/soy sauce eggs definitely order those for snacks. Delivery was quicker than expected and whoever packs the food does an excellent job (no leaking). About to order again now! "
