Has a balanced combination of potato and beef. And, of course, adding the appetizers Chicharron Picado - Papa / Chopped Pork Rinds with Potato , Pan De Bono / Bono Bread and Morcilla Con Arepa / Blood Sausage With Arepa was such a great idea. These are so rich in flavor and the chicharron is soooo crispy. Both the arepa and salty potato that came with these sides were amazing. BUT I MUST SAY, the Empanada Grande - Came / Large Beef Empanada is not as good as they used to be. They were smaller, crispy, and with such more flavor. Now they are kind of bland, less crispy and more flour dough than anything. They are not bad tho, just kind of meh."

"I’ve always been a fan of Shah’s Halal Food because the quality, flavor, packaging, and consistency are usually on point, and this order was no different when it came to taste. Everything was fresh and flavorful. My only disappointment was the portion size, especially the lamb. I counted maybe 11 small chopped pieces of lamb, a couple cucumbers, about 4 or 5 strands of lettuce, and a surprisingly small amount of rice. I finished the entire platter in under six minutes, and trust me, I wasn’t trying to break any records 😂. I remember ordering from Shah’s and getting so much food that I’d have enough for two meals. I completely understand the economy is tough and food costs have gone up for everyone, but customers are feeling it too. When you’re paying for a lamb-over-rice platter, you should still feel like you got your money’s worth. I love the food and will absolutely come back, but hopefully this was just an unusually light-handed serving. Shah’s, show that lamb scoop a little more love next time! 😂"

I called the store and restaurant and they told me it should have been put in white package, but whoever prepared the meal just threw it in there and did not take time to take it out of the plastic bag to repackage and seal it. I highly recommend getting a GREEK CHICKEN PITA & an Extra Chicken Skewer or two if you're looking for something hearty and delicious after a hard day's work. 😋 I have yet to try the Gyros only because I'm too hooked on the Chicken.
