The fiery mozzarella fries were straight up not good, would have been better to not even add them to the menu. The fiery chicken Fiery Royal Crispy Wrap was laughable.. and wasn't remotely "fiery", and it was so poorly thrown together. The fries were alright as I remember them to be and the Fiery Royal Crispy Chicken sandwich was mediocre at best, the real shining star out of everything were the Fiery Chicken Fries, absolutely fantastic. I don't eat fast food very often at all but I will absolutely go to McDonald's or Wednesday for their spicy chicken sandwich which absolutely hail as kings in comparison."

"I know it's kind of weird to leave a five star Subway review, but hear me out: I'm visiting Scranton for a wedding this week. I also have a lot of dietary restrictions that suck, but them's the breaks. Last night, I foolishly ordered not one, but two salads from Chipotle and ended up paying over $30 (40 ish total counting delivery fees and tip, but my Door Dashers were fabulous, and this was not their fault) and ended up with two 1/4 filled containers of shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes (no explanation about the missing ingredients at all). Also they were leaking and had no utensils. I ate this "dinner" with my hands like an actual rabbit and had to sustain myself with my hotel room's complementary coffee creamer to avoid a calorie deficit. Not my proudest moment. I have never Karened before, but I was so hungry I had to shout into the app-feedback void. They gave me like a $7.49 credit, which I accepted and used to purchase a salad from. subway, because why not?
I received the salad of my dreams, for like less than $14 including tip, delivery, and a water to boot. AND they even gave me a free cookie (packaged separately so no cross contamination!!!) that I gave to my husband who has the privilege of a colon that can tolerate gluten.
TL; DR: If you are in Scranton and want a big, satisfying salad, go to this Subway. They restored my faith in fast food today."

"The Bowl Chick n' Noodle is always a great soup. No shultz, always hearty and the broth is perfect made. It's not salty, greasy; a genuine homemade chicken soup that you would enjoy in your grandmother's kitchen. It has a good portion of protein (chicken), and long-cooked mirepoix (carrots, celery and onions). Never fails as a lunch on its own because of the depth of the soup and light but flavorful broth.
The Helen Schwartz, I have attached some photos and allow everyone else form their own opinions; but the meat, while hearty in serving, seems more like corned beef as opposed to pastrami. It was still an excellent sandwich; the rye bread was fresh, not overloaded with mustard (I ordered without the sauerkraut because I simply don't eat it for fear of food poisoning. Just so I am clear, I have never experienced food poisoning at Hometown ever, but with delivery I simply don't feel it's worth any risk. But, while the meat is delicious and plentiful; I attached a photo to demonstrate. Pastrami is usually a long, thin strip with a smoke ring and has a distinct taste and texture. This seemed, tasted and looked much more like corned beef rather than pastrami; but still a great sandwich as I enjoy the occasioal corned beef too.
I like to try and keep my business local; and Downtown Deli has fresh, hearty and delicious meals at good prices. I enjoy their lox occasionally. But, they've never disappointed me "

The drumsticks were small but still really good. We'd order from this location again for sure--but someone needs to do something about the way those biscuits are cooked. The Crispy Chicken MikeWich is so good!! I always get a Side Mike's Hot Sauce and a Side Mike's Mild Sauce to dip it in.
However, I'm going to be honest. I have ordered them many, many times since they opened (that's how much I love them), and they are still inconsistent.
Sometimes my sandwich comes with the "red dust on it and/or on the fries, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes my sandwich comes with the Mike Drip Sauce, and sometimes it doesn't.
I ordered MHC just a week ago, and the order that I received was missing the "red dust", the pickles (which is unforgivable in my eyes), and the Mike's Drip Sauce.
On top of all of that, the sandwich was actually burnt on the end of it.

It's different from all of the other "hot chicken" places around here.
I've been ordering it about two times a week for the past two months because that's how good it is.
The sandwich portion is large, and is always tender (except for last week's order).
The flavor of the sauces is sooo good!!
I order from this restaurant so frequently because I literally crave the flavor, that's how good it is.
They just need to work on their consistency.
I also have to mention that charging $2.50 for 2–oz. side sauces is a little bit too much, especially when every single time I receive the side sauces, they are only half–filled.
I would either lower the price of the side sauces, keep the price of the side sauces, but give larger portions of them (4 oz. instead of 2 oz.), or at least fill them all the way.
I consistently receive 2–oz. side sauces that are only half–filled.
However, with all of that being said, I will keep returning as their chicken and sauces are so good that their quality and flavor eclipses their inconsistency."
