The Chicken Dum Biryani (Bone-less) was very fragrant and flavourful, especially served with a delicious salan that was just the right amount, and then the raita with gulab for desert made it complete. My only annoyance was the I called in ahead and asked if the meat would be chicken breast, but it was boneless thigh which some people might prefer, but I would not have ordered it.
The Soldier Chicken is the ultimate appetizer. I went straight for them and they were so good thought the portion is definitely for one person. I also like that if you buy rice with it, you can take the left ove garnish and put it ontop of your main dish.
The Idly Vada Combo along with the side chutneys was a great price and I would have ordered two because I still had a lot of idly left.
I am glad to know this resto exists and will be checking it out again for Indian food. "

My husband was a chef at the Royal York, and a colleague would cook his Indian dishes when the kitchen wasn't crazy busy, and the meal would be shared with the Executive Chef, my husband and their secretary. If I wasn't too busy at work, they would invite me, and I would always jump at the chance to eat his food and learn new recipes. Our local restaurant seems to be closed, and after reading the reviews from so many restaurants, I decided to try Kothur. The Lamb Rogan Josh is boneless, tender, fat, and gristle free in a rich fragrant sauce. In the Paneer Makhani, the cheese is delightfully soft in a beautifully spiced sauce. The Aloo Gobi is as good as the recipe Ali gave me years ago with cauliflower that is tender but not mushy, and the potatoes are cooked the same way. The way I would describe their Chilli Chicken is that it tastes like a General Taos Chicken, but the pieces of chicken are larger, and never dried out. Try!!"

"Finally, a good and reliable Caribbean restaurant near me! Chicken Roti is tasty and the Dalpuri is fresh. Portion size is very generous, I always have leftovers. Jerk 3 pc. Chicken has a nice and spicy marinade, but the pieces are small. Chicken Patty was delicious but sweet, I think I was given the veggie patty by mistake. Patty had a nice buttery crust. My only dislike is the pepper sauce, it is more vinegary than other restaurants. Can't waiter to order again! "
"Best caribbean good I have had in a LONG time ! Jerk Chicken was the bomb.com and I did not need to order the Extra Gravy because the rice and peas came with plenty! The Extra Gravy was still really good so I found rice to pour it on lol. Very good flavor on everything. The Curr Potato did not have chickpeas like the photo but the flavor of the Curry Potato was yummy nonetheless! This will be the only place I order Jerk Chicken from moving forward!"
