The arroz con gandules y pernil wasnt bad but again it wasn't good. It was bland. As a Hispanic I've learned multiple things and it's that flavor is everything and genuinely it just wasn't there especially for the price.
The pastelillos was my tip of the iceberg. I ordered two for 10 and the both FIT in my hand. You can go to a food truck and order one for 3 dollars with flavor that's bigger.
Then there's the flan. I don't even remember how much I paid for it but it came in a small cup. I will say the flavor and texture ten out of ten. I would've ordered more if I knew the portions were gonna be the size of a quarter."

I'm a little let down because I was expecting the curry chicken to have a lot more meat in the food container that it was in but the flavor of the chicken juices is so wonderful that I can already tell I'll be returning soon . "I tried the Chicken or Pork Adobo and paid $18 for what ended up being about six pieces of pork with a small side of rice. The portion felt a bit underwhelming for the price, especially with how small the rice serving was.
As for the pork itself, it wasn’t as tender as I expected from adobo—it was a bit tough and didn’t really have that melt-in-your-mouth texture you usually want. I ended up adding some of my own shrimp egg foo young gravy to it, and that honestly made a big difference in the flavor.
Overall, this dish didn’t quite hit for me, and I wouldn’t order the pork adobo again. That said, I’m still open to trying something else on the menu and giving them another shot to redeem themselves."
