"The size and flavor of the celebration cake is buttery, sweet, and impeccable. The red velvet cake unfortunately was really dry which is unusual because it has always been VERY moist coming from a patron of over 13 years to their California locations. It must have been an off day at the bakery.
The strawberry cupcake is creamy, tangy, with a hint of strawberry. I purchased two of the strawberry, one coconut, and one raspberry limited time offer cupcake in the 4 Box Cupcake Assortment. The presentation of them didn't have the signature Susie cakes look of carefully decorated nearly smoothed frosting.
While the vanilla layer cake was delicious, overall a majority of the cakes/cupcakes were dry instead of the moist cakes I have come to know and love.
I still recommend ordering from Susie cakes but it'd behoove you to go in person for fresh items. I think the door dash orders get day old or older items."

"Mac and cheese container was less than half way filled up...total rip off! Also, crispy "tacos" should be renamed crispy "tortillas" cause there hardly any meat in any of the tacos! Fries tasted weird like rubbery."
"My dasher called to let me know they were out of my rice pilaf for the Rainbow Trout dinner. I asked if the salad they had as a substitute was the same value and the person at the restaurant over the dasher's phone stated she would check with the manager and then would not speak after and told the dasher they but a salad in the bag. They literally put plain lettuce in a bowl that was supposed to be a caesar salad. No shaved parmesan nor croutons. Fish was burnt and flavorless. Extremely disappointed with the price I paid for food received."

"Everything was fantastic! The Quesadilla Combo hit the spot. The Half Philly / 5 Wings Combo , chicken Philly had great flavor and the bread was nice and soft , though I would’ve liked a bit more of that honey gold sauce on the wings, it was still very good. The shrimp or Catfish Po Boi Combo , was great and even the coleslaw on the sandwich impressed me, especially since I'm pretty picky after moving to Texas. I’ll definitely be back!!!10/10"
