"This is what the Chirashi looks like when u get it in store. I was actually very surprised when it came to me at home because I have ordered from several sushi places on DoorDash. They all skimp out on some aspect or mess up the order. I was very impressed with this order from Kansai. The piece sizes were generous and thick. The tuna was a little bit small but the salmon seemed to be a little bit larger and thicker to compensate. As a regular at Kansai, their doordashing does not dissapoint either. "

They also didn't put our order in a sealed bag, it was on a cardboard, and all the rolls were together which was very unpractical. $.8 in Berkeley or Oakland is very different from a 4.8 rating in Alameda it seems. "I usually get the same thing every time. Today I tried some different rolls and they were really good, tons of food. Lemon Salmon Crazy Monkey and Three Times Lady I'm not a huge fan of CA roll, but I really like this Lemon Salmon roll! I didn't realize the crazy monkey roll had a sauce on it, it was a little sweet for my taste. All in all I'd recommend. "

"OMG I LOVE their salmon nigiri! I first started out with 2 pairs and now I can't stop ordering. Their salmon isn't dry like other places and it's moist without adding an extra flavor so it tastes the same just has better texture. I never thought that mattered to me til now. Plus it helps that this is so far the cheapest on DoorDash for salmon nigiri. "Rolls are very large and filling but lack flavor. Shrimp Tempura Roll (on the left in pic) was the best out of all with a solid taste for the basic roll. Lobster Tempura Roll had a decent flavor however it was stuffed mostly with lettuce! Jon's Shrimp Lover Roll was ok, each ingredient stood out and easily identified. Snow White Roll (on the right in pic) was ok, however the avocado was overpowering. Prawn Tempura Appetizer was very good but only came with 4. Lastly, Katsu Don was delicious and taste very similar to the dishes in Japan! "

"We order from here all the time and I have to say the one thing that is never consistent are the Fresh Roll Veg. Tonight they were not cut into smaller pieces and when I pulled them out they were sticking to the box and in the 2nd picture you can see the material transferred to the food since they were laying down. Still taste good, but I'd rather not have to disassemble the roll to eat it! The chicken wings are nice and crunchy and tasty. The Garlic Noodle have plenty of veggies with it (which you don't see often but a nice changed) and it's not super garlicky, which we like and you can never go wrong with Edamame! "Driving up, I was hesitant as it is an unassuming storefront next to a shell gas station. But I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was it packed with care but the fish was very fresh. I love thoughtful packaging and sushigogo went above and beyond. They included the usual combo of chopsticks, wasabi, ginger but in one pack. The bonus were the hand wipes and dish for soy sauce! The boxes themselves were very cute and I appreciate that the Salmon Sashimi (4 Pieces) came in compostable packaging.
