"This is my first time trying Caffe Levant and as someone who's picky about their matcha, the Iced Strawberry Matcha (medium) was okay, the strawberry purée tastes fantastic though. The Spicy Chicken Kale Salad over Rice is amazing!. It is a tad bit spicy but the kale and sauce go so well together. I didn't get the extra chicken option but I didn't need it! The portion size was enough for me (full day at work) and kept me full and satiated. I would definitely order these two again and would def try Caffe Levant again!"

Garlic sauce has a sour taste to it which is strange."

I'm celiac, so it's often hard to find places that can reliably produce good food without cross contamination, but I haven't had a problem once. I dont think the wrap with the order is GF, it's packaged separately and plastic wrapped though, so not a big deal. I normally just give that to my roommate anyway. Overall, they're incredibly consistent and I highly recommend."

I've tried a lot of great shawarma in my years in Calgary, but this is the first restaurant I've tried that made me feel like I was home. The food is simply superb. Don’t be fooled by the menu photos, they make the portions look generous, but what you actually get is very disappointing. I paid $29.99 for the Large Mix, and the plate came with only two small pieces of potato lol.
I’ve tried shawarma from many places across Canada, and this was by far one of the worst experiences when it comes to portion size and value for money. The taste was okay, not bad but nothing special either. The food did not match the price or the expectations set by their menu.
I won’t be ordering from here again. Definitely not worth the money. See it for yourself i guess, but definitely wont be coming back.
