"I decided to switch it up from my usual go to spot for chilaquiles because I kept hearing so much hype about La Catedral. Unfortunately, I was grossly disappointed.
We ordered multiple items, but I personally only tried the chilaquiles, so this review is strictly based on that dish. That said, I'm so disappointed I don't even want to bother trying anything else I ordered.
First, the dish didn’t come with rice. I actually went back to double check the menu, and to be fair, it was listed that way so that part was on me. I guess I’ve been spoiled because every other restaurant I’ve ordered chilaquiles from includes rice as a standard side, so I assumed it would here too.
The bigger issue was the cecina that came with it. It was terrible, extremely fatty and poorly prepared. The chilaquiles were soggy. What I received felt like a huge, unappetizing slop of food. For $130, I expected much better quality. Instead, most of the chilaquiles and meat ended up in the trash.
Definitely not worth the hype. Never again."

The lid on the container was secure. The next time the eggs were flat and not warm. The lid was not fastened securely to the bottom. I ordered a sandwich and the same thing, the lid was not securely attached to the bottom. This makes it very difficult to get the container out of the bag without risking dumping something. "I hate to leave such a bad review but I'm just giving my & my friend's very honest opinion. For one...we didn't even eat a fourth of the food. It was that bad. For some reason I received an enormous amount of "hashbrowns", "fried potatoes" whatever they want to call them...that would have been awesome if they were cooked properly. The best way to describe them is peeled baked potatoes, sliced, & barely warmed up in a pan. NO color at all, no browning, nothing to make them a fried potato. As far as the price of the biscuits and gravy...that was good. 3 big biscuits with a very moderate amount of gravy (not nearly enough for 2, let alone 3 biscuits).....BUT the gravy....there's no way the gravy was homemade. It tasted just like that stuff u get in a powdered packet at the grocery store. I won't even use that stuff on camping trips. It ruined all 3 biscuits. I feel bad for anyone who thinks that's what breakfast/white gravy is supposed to taste like....it's not even remotely close. I also ordered the bologna & eggs (sounds weird to many but my uncle used to make this yummy chuck bologna gravy when I was younger & it was always gone quickly...it's really good. You see it a lot in the south. Not only was the quality & consistency of the couple bologna chunks really bad but it was also SO over cooked. Tough, odd color, just not good at all. The way u have to order a few items on their DoorDash page is pretty messed up as well. What I ordered had no way to choose how you wanted your 2 eggs prepared & after typing it in the suggestion portion it somehow disappeared & I ended up with scrambled...not over medium like I'd wanted. Sadly it's one of the worse & disappointing meals I've had away from home in a while. I'm from out of state so I'm not sure who's really good or who to avoid. This place must really make up for their lack of decent breakfast foods during their other meal hours because how they ended up with over 4 stars baffles me. If I served any if that food to my friends or family they'd think I'd lost it. I hate downing a small business...but if no one is honest with u about your food quality I guess you'll live in a dream land that it's great.
Trust me, if u want some good diner breakfast foods go elsewhere...you will not leave here happy or satisfied unfortunately. "
