By the time I got it, it was soggy. The flavor of the Personal White Clam Pizza was subpar and bad ingredients, but the Personal Traditional Mootz Pizza was really good flavor. Unfortunately it was not fresh so I couldn't enjoy it. I would get the Personal Traditional Mootz Pizza again if it was fresh in store, but this wasn't good enough"

"Pies are small for the pricing, they are what I would consider a typical medium pie - don't expect the typical "size of your head" large pie slice . Sunday sauce pizza was very good but not $31.50 for a medium pie good. Same could be said for the $23.00 cheese pie size/price comparison. Meatballs were ok, light on seasoning and heavy on breadcrumbs, about 1.5" size - our kids liked them. Overall: We will likely order again if in a pizza-pinch ... but with steep local competition, accounting for size, price, and flavor it won't be the default "go to" by a fair margin."

The garlic rolls were stale and tasteless. I ordered this pizza because there was a buy one get one deal,so I got two medium pizzas and they were very large and so hot. It was hard to hold onto the box, which is great, however, they already looked old, even though they were hot and the sauce was so sweet it ruined it. I got the second pizza to pack in lunches this week, but I threw it out instead. It was OK and it fed us, but I don't believe I'll be going back. it would've been better if the sauce were not so sweet, the the cheese was freshly ground , and the crust was a little more cooked.
The restaurant was empty, but the staff was friendly enough. I wish them well, I just wish I had enjoyed the food more."

"Five stars: the real deal in Boynton Beach!
Monica's is the best Italian sandwich shop I've found in the area. Everything tastes like it came straight from a deli in Italy. The prosciutto di parma, mortadella with pistachios, capicollo, and fresh stracciatella are all top quality and clearly authentic.
The bread is perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, and it holds up to every ingredient. The Monica Deluxe, with prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, and sundried tomatoes, is outstanding. The Colosseum is loaded with Italian cured meats, and the hot sandwiches, like the Roma Rosa chicken cutlet with pink sauce, pesto, and fresh mozzarella, are just as good. The salads are fresh and simple, which is exactly how Italian food should be.
The shop is spotless, and the staff were warm, friendly, and happy to help me choose. The charcuterie board for two with house wine looks like a great date-night option, and I'll be back to try it.
