"One of our favorite Dim Sum spots for sure. I could eat their Xiao Long Soup Bun daily. They're great dumplings but like any good dumpling the sauces really make them. Always load mine up with their dumpling sauce and plenty of chili oil. Also as someone who has eaten Jumbo Crab Ragoons as many Asian restaurants most of my life Nana's does them better than most if not all I've had. For something so simple the filling is delicious and actually made with real crab which is so rare. They are on the high end but also include some nice lump crab meat on the side. As someone who absolutely loves crab, having a few bites of fresh sweet crab on the side is a nice bonus for me! Everything is always packaged very well and with care. I've never even had a single Xiao Long Soup Bun that has leaked in transport. Always intact with all the soupy goodness sealed inside. Nana's will definitely continue to be a go to any time we are in the mood for dim sum and even writing the review has me ready to order again so it won't be long!"

"This food was so disappointing. Im from NJ, please dont order from here if you're hoping for it to be anything like east coast Chinese! The sweet and sour chicken was mushy and about 80% breading with a tiny piece of chicken inside. The Mongolian beef was a pint full of onions - and the white onions not even green onions like it's supposed to come with. There was very little beef in there. I also only received a teeny tiny container of rice with my food when I ordered two entrees (you should get one per entree and it was SO small!!). I want to acknowledge upfront that I’m not an expert in Chinese cuisine, and as a white American, I know my palate and expectations are shaped by a limited exposure to the full range of regional Chinese flavors. We’re a family that enjoys Asian cuisine and tries to approach new dishes with curiosity and respect, but this meal didn’t land well for any of us.
I will start with the positives and move on to the negatives.
👍 Positives:
• Beef noodle broth, according to my husband was quite good.
• Pork belly in the noodle bowl was tender and perfectly cooked.
• Bok choy in both noodle bowls was fresh and nicely crisp.
• My husband found the pork potstickers to be tasty.
• Side of rice was simple and well-prepared. (This actually means a lot coming from my son—he worked with a sushi chef from Japan and has an appreciation for properly prepared rice.)
👎 Negatives:
• Boba tea tasted like basic Lipton tea with pearls.
• Noodles resembled soggy spaghetti—soft and floury – not at all chewy.
• Beef in the noodle bowl was extremely overcooked.
• Spice blend used across multiple dishes was overwhelming and lingered unpleasantly in our home.
• Pork noodle bowl broth had the same overpowering seasoning and was hard to stomach.
• Chicken potstickers, again, were doused in whatever spice and my son could not eat them.
• Pork bun was mushy and had an off-putting flavor.
• Overall execution of basic items like noodles and tea was disappointing.
I understand that taste is subjective and that regional Chinese dishes may use spices or ingredients unfamiliar to me. Still, I believe a restaurant should be able to execute the basics well—like chewy noodles and quality tea. For us, this meal was a miss, and at nearly $100, it felt like a costly disappointment.
I won’t be returning, but I hope others with different tastes or cultural familiarity might have a better experience.

"The staff were very kind when I called with questions, so I feel bad leaving a negative review, but the meal was incredibly disappointing.
I called ahead to ask about the broth in the veggie and tofu pho and was told it normally comes with beef broth, but they could make it with vegetable broth upon request. I really appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, when the order arrived, the broth was completely flavorless - it is actually clear, like hot water.
The vegetable assortment was actually good: mushrooms, carrots, jalapeños, zucchini, cabbage, bean sprouts, scallions, bok choy, and basil. But vegetables and rice noodles in what tasted like plain hot water just wasn't very appetizing.
Honestly, if you're recovering from a stomach bug and want steamed vegetables and plain noodles, this might be perfect. Otherwise, if you're vegetarian or vegan, I'd skip it."
