I love cream cheese, I like to be pretty heavy handed with it, I was happy it was free, and thus I was lured in. When my bagel arrived, sandwiched in the middle was a veritable mountain of cream cheese. Literally at least two inches of solid cream cheese from bagel to bagel. Reminiscent of upturning an entire tub of cream cheese onto an unsuspecting bagel half. It was equal parts cream cheese and bagel. If that's what you want, go nuts, but be warned. That said, the bagel was fresh and delicious and I would order again."

I would guess that they were day or two old bagels instead of being made that day. $5.50 is expensive for not-baked-that-day bagels though so I don't think I would order again.

"Absolutely delicious. In the 2x2 Platter I got the short rib pastrami, lamb shoulder, potatoes and slaw. I wouldn't change a thing. As someone who usually doesn't care for roasted carrots, the Harissa Smoked Carrots *Spring* are fantastic. The seasoning provides a hint of spice to balance the sweetness of the carrots. The Short Rib Pastrami Sandwich was tender and tasty. I haven't tried the sweet sauce, but the mustard and vinegar ones are phenomenal- I need to get bottles to keep on hand.
The Smoked Deviled Eggs are a nice change for the usual, but could use a bit more acid.

So many places dont even offer them and instead they have breakfast potatoes which are often dry and chewy. The hashbrowns at Z Burger are top end. They are completely amazing. Everything else is top notch too but the hash browns are stand out. I think the prices here are about what you'd expect these days. But I think the food here for breakfast is McLean's best option. I'm surprised more people dont know about it. I've also tried a breakfast burrito and mediterranean omlet and both were great. Ive taken family here and all were surprised how solid everything was. For now though it seems undiscovered, and thus quiet and peaceful usually. "
