"I’m very grateful to the delivery driver, they were awesome and delivered so speedily. This 3 star review is entirely because of Gyro Plus. I wasn’t familiar with restaurant and wanted to try something new. The food was very bad. Lentil soup tasted mostly like water and there was no taste of any seasonings or spices at all except for black pepper. And it was mushy like it had been cooking all day long. I didn’t see a single vegetable in the soup. I gagged while eating it. And I’m a lover of lentil soup, I always order it at places that sell it. And the only part of the falafel wrap that was good was the falafel itself and the side sauce. Huge mouthfuls of plain iceberg lettuce in every bite. Aside from that maybe 3 slices of tomato and I think a small slice of cucumber ?? It was tasteless, lacked nutrition, and wasn’t filling at all. And I’m very skinny with a small appetite. After finishing this meal I’m now snacking on other stuff I have around the house. I’m still hungry! And I paid nearly $30 for this meal!! Including a reasonable tip for the delivery driver. This is as fast food as it gets. Never eating at a Gyro Plus again. Also all the food was in styrofoam packaging. Don’t you guys know that you can’t recycle that? So tasteless food and also harming the planet "

"The ice cream was delicious! Unfortunately they were out of both flavors we ordered and they didn't even tell us this. We discovered it after leaving with our items. My son took a bite and his was sherbet—which isn’t ice cream. An odd substitution to make but we thought ok we’ll just go back in and tell them we want to swap it. After getting inside I checked mine and it was chocolate, which I cannot eat. So I asked to swap mine for a non chocolate option like what I’d originally ordered. The girl got a bit snippy/huffy with us after that. But if they have to make substitutions they need to do better about reaching out to the customer to make them aware; if they can’t reach them then they should wait for them to come inside and inquire face to face. Barring those options, if you’re going to make a swap, make it a SIMILAR item; don’t change dairy for non-dairy or fruit for candy, etc. People have allergies, intolerances and preferences to consider. Beyond all of that, our experience was great. "

"Bacon was all fat. Out of three full orders of bacon in our delivery, only 1.5 thin *pieces* had any meat. The rest was 100% fat. I've never seen cooked bacon that fatty. The scrambled eggs and French toast were cooked unevenly, each being partly dry and overdone and partly soggy and undercooked, which is quite an accomplishment. This is not the first time our food has been poor quality and badly prepared, but we waited a year to order again and thought it would be better. Unfortunately, it was not. "
