"The food is very good. But $20 for Pechuga a La Plancha / Grilled Chicken Breast is too much. It comes with one thin piece of grilled chicken breast and a ton of rice. Again, tastes very good, but for the price, there should at least be two pieces of chicken. "
"I'm a big snowmen it comes to steak, and as far as steak for delivery goes, their Churrasco 16 Oz / Skirt Steak 16 Oz is off the charts OUTSTANDING!!I order it rare and then reheat it to medium rare, add a touch of salt and enjoy!I promise you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind that Delivered prices are 25% higher than regular menu prices...so if you can, order by phone and pick it up."

"I was under the weather, and figured Sopa de Pollo / Chicken Soup was the right move. I looked around and figured I'd try Costambar since it was close and relatively quick. I have genuinely never had a better chicken soup in my life. I don't even like yucca, and this worked incredibly well with it. Honestly, better than most sancocho I've had. it was flavorful and the consistency of sancocho, but with its own direction and a few noodles."
"Be prepared to get more starch than meat with the lunch portions...for example, I got the Chicharon de Pollo / Fried Chicken and there's more chicharon on a scarecrow than the serving...BUT it was DELICIOUS. The yuca needed a little more moisture-just a bit dry. Mangu 3 Golpe EXCELLENT. Platanos perfect-not greasy-not burned-just right, but cold. I blame the driver for that not the restaurant. He prob had it all in his trunk SMH; cold outside. Would I order again? 75% yes. "

"the chicken stew is amazing just make sure you are specific with what you are ordering. I asked for salsa Roja Pollo guisado and yellow rice and got what I wanted thoroughly. keep ordering from here its a go to for inexpensive high quality lunch!"
"First we love Lula's! it is the best Dominican place around! No one wanted the tres golpes pizza to slam more than our Italian/Dominican family but it needs some work. While the cheese, salami, and egg are delicious, you really miss the flavors of mangu and pickled onions which aren't on the pizza. The pizza part was all wrong because the marinara sauce is weirdly sweet like it has sugar. Also despite it taking 3x longer to arrive than other orders, it was still undercooked floppy dough because the toppings are too heavy. You need to cook the pizza first in a hotter oven and add the toppings at the end. It's a cool attempt, glad we tried it, and wasn't bad tasting but it could be great with some tweaks. For now I'd stick to the regular tres golpes (delicious) and just get pizza from a pizza place."

"Best customer service ever. I order the pernil lunch special and it was delicious and there pan con queso. Ive also ordered the yaroa with sweet plantains with pernil and that was also good. That same day I ordered bolitas de yuca and another appetizer he store reached out to me and mentioned that they didnt have it for rn so they asked me if I wanted maduros instead and I said yes. When my order arrived they also left me a gift which was mini empanadas that were really good. I would give this a 10/10 for the food and the great service."
"Presentation was great, but the food was underwhelming. I was really looking forward to this meal and left disappointed. The chicken lacked flavor, and the yuca was drenched in vinegar, making it nearly inedible. For the price and expectation, I expected much better. Truly disappointing."

"En especial el Tiramisú no estaba nada dulce estaba balanceado delicioso realmente estaba tan rico que me hubiera comido hasta dos los los plátanos Maduros ricos pero un poco grasos los Deditos de Queso / Cheese Sticks ricos"
"Un-eatable, as soon as I took my food out of the plastic bag, the foods container fell through the paper bag onto my kitchen floor. This was due to the fact that the food was so greasy it absolutely drenched the bag to weaken it to that point. Meat was super chewy, and rice was extremely soggy. Would not order again."
