"We stumbled on Saint Pita when looking for healthy options. Beef Shawarma Pita, Chicken Gyro Pita, Chicken Shawarma Pita. Delightful. Fresh, tasty, light. Be aware of the following. 1) Pictures show foods presented as in pita pockets, but food is served like a folded over flatbread. 2) Pita combo pictures show fries served. Only option we saw was with Greek salad. No biggie, although we were hankering for fries. We would have ordered combo, but wanted to try 3rd pita option vs paying for combo. 3) Combo add-ons are a little confusing. Instructions are to add only 1, so we added tomatoes. The restaurant called us to clarify as the pitas normally come with LTO, etc, etc. Turns out the add 1 applies only to whether you want to add feta cheese or hummus. So the restaurant graciously corrected the order. Representative was super nice to talk to. 4) Tzatziki was a little light, like it was made with regular yogurt, not Greek style. Note to restaurant, maybe add additional tzatziki cups to Sauces section so we can order more. Yum. Also, would have loved to get the Greek salad with the option of adding protein. "I have to congratulate Piola for doing something pretty difficult, which is make a bad pizza. Eating that pizza literally made me sad. We got a meat lovers pizza and garlic "knots". First off, the dough was burnt around the edges and undercooked in the middle, it was just floppy and sad. The bacon was undercooked and fatty, the ham was in weirdly large cubes, and the rest of the meat was basically flavorless. We paid an extra $2.50 for sun "dried" tomatoes that were cold and soggy like they were just added on at the end, plus they were weirdly large and only like one or two pieces per slice. The "fresh" basil was wilted and flavorless. It was also insulting that a pizza that was less than 12" was $21. The worst part of all was there was just a random piece of thin, wiry plastic randomly in the middle of the pizza. The garlic knots were the only thing that made this meal not entirely depressing. First off, they aren't knots, they're rolls and the flavor was good (if you mess up garlic and parmesean you don't deserve to run a restaurant) but they were cold and stale like they just have a ton sitting around ready and waiting to be ordered. This entire experience was awful from start to finish and if this is how their quality is going to be on a Saturday night then I don't care to ever go back to try ever again. It makes no sense to me how this place has such good reviews, this was literally the worst pizza I have ever ordered. It's strange that the menu is Italian but its actually Cuban. Please do not let the good reviews fool you, DO NOT EAT HERE. Not worth my money"
