"I was honestly surprised about how amazing everything was. The California Roll was the BEST I've ever had and I'm from Cali. The Egg Drop Soup wasn't what I expected but a little soy sauce it was brilliant. The (D) Teriyaki Salmon Box with Salad was PERFECT! Chicken Ramen Soup was a little spicier than wanted but that might have been our fault for putting the whole container of seasoning we were given. The Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura was fantastic. It's my favorite Asian restaurant in Jacksonville and I always consider food from here when I earn enough money to eat out. I usually order the Miso Soup and Dragon Roll (with soy sauce) and it's never leaked.
I am also EXTREMELY allergic to shellfish and Mandarin Asian Bistro is the ONLY place in town I am confident in. I have tried every single place that offers sushi (even Publix) and I have gotten sick at all of them, except here. They take excellent care when I inform them and completely understand my allergies/needs and take great care in ensuring there's no cross-contamination. I tried the pineapple coconut smoothie with boba this time and it's TAAART. If you like tart drinks, you'd love this, but it's not for me. The boba is ok, but isn't as tender as I like.
