Tai Pan deserves 5 stars and then some. I ordered through DoorDash and was blown away from the moment the food arrived. Everything was piping hot, like it just came out of the kitchen—no sogginess, no cold spots, just fresh and ready to enjoy.
First off, the portions are incredibly generous. One entrée easily feeds two people (though it’s so good, you might not want to share!). You definitely get your money’s worth, which is rare these days.
Now the stars of the show:
🔥 Sesame Chicken – Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Crispy without being greasy, coated in a perfectly balanced sauce that’s sweet, savory, and just a little tangy. Every bite was addictive.
🌶️ General Tso’s Chicken – Absolute perfection. The flavor profile is rich and bold with just the right amount of heat. The chicken was tender inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside. You can tell they take pride in their cooking.
Even the sides were great — the fried rice was flavorful, not greasy, and the egg rolls were still crispy on arrival.
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Fast delivery, hot and fresh food, and truly exceptional flavor across the board. Tai Pan has officially become my go-to for Chinese takeout. If you’re thinking about ordering—do it. You won’t regret it."

"Amazing!! I got the House Special #2 (Gang Ma Sa Mun) and added green beans. Also got a small Tom Yum (soup), a spring roll, and Thai iced tea. I portioned out a small lunch and you can see how much is left! Generous portions. The absolute best Massaman curry AND Tom Yum I've had yet. Even the spice level is perfect and well balanced with the other flavors. I'm usually a "mild" person but took a risk asking for "medium" and it's not too hot! In my opinion, So Thai has better spring rolls because of their thinner wrapper, overall texture, and hint of black pepper. But I'd be very happy to have all these items again from KK and can't wait to go back."

"Five stars for taste, but only two stars for getting orders right.
I've loved Sy Thai for yearsss. The food is and always has been absolutely delicious. It's one of my go to places to order from.
That said, I'm done going through doordash bc over the past couple of years the restaurant has consistently screwed up orders (ie chicken when I order veggie etc), failed to include items, etc.. I'd say 50% of my orders have been wrong in some way - it's disappointing esp when you pay $16 for a dish that is incorrect and only get like $4.58 back (which I understand is a doordash issue, not a sy thai issue; still frustrating).
Like I said - the food is good. So good! I don't want to stop ordering from Sy Thai, but going forward it will only be if I or someone else can pick it up to make sure everything is included and correct. "
