"Food quality was great across the board
The Seared Eel with Miso Cream Cheese is a must-order; the eel sauce paired with the miso cream cheese feels light on your tongue, but packed with flavor. The Salmon Toro* melts in your mouth (to the right of the Southern Bluefin Toro* in the photo) and the Seared Salmon Toro* is a slightly tougher but smoky bite. The Southern Bluefin Toro* was great, but be mindful that it only comes with one piece as shown in the photos.
I hadn't tried Fried Takoyaki before, but the creamy octopus filling was unlike anything I'd ever tasted. It's a solid hot dish if you like something milder in flavor.
I finished my meal with the Sesame Balls. They were a subtly sweet and crunchy end to a great meal. Highly recommend."

"I called the store ahead of time and asked if my sushi rolls could be made with less crab because they are usually overfilled. Unfortunately, the employee I spoke with was very rude. This is the same employee who previously hung up on me and refused to provide her name when I asked for it. The issue started when I politely asked for a small amount of Sriracha on the side, something the other employees have always done for me. Instead, she responded rudely that there would be an extra charge. Since this wasn’t the first negative experience I had with her, I asked if I could speak with a manager. She then hung up on me and blocked my number.I was eventually able to speak with the owner, who listened to my concerns, understood the situation, and apologized for how I was treated. However, despite our conversation, the employee never informed the kitchen about my request to make the rolls with less crab. As a result, when I received my order, the rolls were still overfilled with crab and much larger than I had requested."

"I stumbled upon this place recently walking around Glendale. I had high hopes due to the name and the food truly exceeded my expectation. Sea butter is the most literal & perfect explanation for this sushi! They also left me the cutest hand note which is what really encouraged me to leave a review! This used to be a different place some years back so i hope they stay put forever and ever! I ordered the Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice & Sexy Albacore 10/10 for both! I didnt take. "Food was good. Definitely scratched an itch but the blue crab roll had a bad taste to it and all the rolls were smaller than what you can get at your grocery store now. Paid $20 for sushi the size of a quarter. Food was good but not worth $108 for small rolls"

"Ive been looking for a good poke place nearby that has a lot of options and doesnt charge you extra for every additional topping or sauce flavor. Not only did here check both boxes, but their portions were quite large, and most importantly the food was delicious!! Fresh fish (I got salmon, ahi, and spicy tuna), all of my fave toppings (including corn, ginger, edamame, and all the crunchies), and no limit on sauces (I like to mix a few).
I also got an Albacore Hand Roll which was a really great price for fresh fish and avocado in LA (for reference, great white in larchmont once charged me $6 just to add avo to my breakfast burrito - this cost less than that add on!). It only came with soy sauce which (as a sauce girl) would have been a little bland for my taste, but I just added some ponzu from my poke bowl to it and was quite happy!
