"I ordered a pRty platter for 5. All the meat and chicken were cooked to perfection and the seasoning is mouth watering. Comes with-pita bread and turshi and a fatoush salad ... I also ordered the jalepeno cilatro hummus which had the perfect kick mmmm ! Everything was so clean and organized and they dont use the cheap containers which end up spilling everywhere like most other places and that is a definite plus! I will be ordering again! "
"The White Rice was not like Lebanese rice, more so Chinese food. The 8oz Garlic doesnt come with even a piece of pita bread. So I ordered a Pita Bread side and they only give you 1 for almost $4!! Insanity. The Beef Tikka (Filet) only comes with 5 pieces and was well done. Not worth $11. You can get double the portions (and better quality) at several Lebanese restaurants. Maybe you should stick to the hummus only at this place, I wonder if those comes with any pita! "

"Absolutely delicious! All of the dishes were still hot when they arrived. They looked exactly like the picturea. Portion size is great. There's a lot of meat in both sandwiches. The pork belly on the Betta W/Feta Wrap (1) is amazing, good texture, cooked perfect! The Apolla Wrap (1) was packed with gyro meat and there was a good balance of feta, toppings and sauce. The driver Darius was polite and super personable."

"Ive never heard of this place before but it had great reviews so we wanted to give it a try. I am glad we did!!! We ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza which was delicious! The Cheese Bread was great as well! I loved that the cheese wasnt chewy. It was wonderful! The favorite was definitely the Bepka Pizza!!!!!! I dont normally even like cooked tomatoes but this was absolutely delicious!!! New favorite pizza place! We will be ordering again! Thank you for a great food experience! "
"The round was perfect amount of crunch and chewiness! Not too much sauce(which is very good, not too sweet / not too generic), not too much cheese but just enough and there was minimal grease! The worst is when the bottom of the box is covered with oil & this pizza didn't have it. The turbo crust was great, fresh Romano sprinkle.
Only thing is the ranch cups are very small haha. But hey, I'll take it!!"

"Lamb chops were tasty and well cooked . Keep in mind this did not come with rice or potato. Only side salad. Which the menu indicated.
Shawarma meat was dry and salty and very small. Lentil soup was really good! Usually other places will give you get garlic sauce. Nothing not even the shawarma had garlic sauce. 3 stars because the lamb chops were very well cooked and not over cooked. "

"I am Assyrian and for someone being middle eastern, I must say this is one of the best middle eastern food I have had in the country. Very juicy, flavorful and great quality. They also serve large portions and it appears to be a lot more than most restaraunts give you. "
"WOW this is truly authentic middle eastern cooking and haven't been reminded of this charbroiled flavor since being overseas. My family is Iraqi so I've had tons of different middle eastern food until now and this is by far my favorite. #1 spot out of Shelby Twp, Sterling Heights, and Dearborn food by far. BBQ meats taste amazing but charbroiled is another level and layer of flavor. The Charbroiled Whole Chicken / دجاجة على الفحم is butterflied and then grilled which is served over two options of rice. Never had whole grilled chicken like that before and is so delicious. I enjoyed the brown rice (beryani style) and yellow rice very much, but the beryani style was a perfect balance of peppered and Mediterranean seasonings. Honestly better than I've had at holiday gatherings, they killed it! We also had the combo tray for 4 and it was served over pita bread fresh off the grill. I really enjoyed the kabob and cream chop. The cream chop came crispy and tasted like it just got cooked seconds ago and I have never gotten cream chop to go that wasn't soggy. Delicious. The food came in aluminum trays with a layer of saran wrap so the food came piping hot when it arrived and I live pretty far. Bringing the food inside, I could barely carry it because that's how much food you get and even the packaging was hot to the touch. The portions are HUGE and for a great price. The presentation on the Charbroiled Whole Chicken / دجاجة على الفحم was actually really nice too. Can't beat the flavor, price, and portions so it's a win-win-win for me."

"Ultimate vegetarian plate was so much food for me. I ate 1/4. Falafel was awesome not greasy and the hummus and tahini were perfect; the dollars were tangy and fresh; the garnishes are so good and crunchy; the only tabbouleh I can eat is from here ?not overdone on tangy acid ingredients).Crushed lentil soup is the best at this restaurant. Spanakopita spinach had no cheese in it I think the description said spinach and cheese but tasted very good. Pita breads were fresh and soft. The rice pilaf? Wow I ate 1/2 cup and it didn't dent the side dish lol. All good food that is gut friendly for me and in no way blows my dietary needs. Will keep returning here."
"This is our go-to for so many of our favorites, the chicken with lemon/oregano is tangy amazing and my husband loves the Almond Rice Salad with lamb. Everything is always fresh and the portions are quite generous. No problems for many years! Maybe they were extra busy at the time of our last order because the shawarmas had pickle when we asked them to hold the pickles and they completely forgot our Tabouli, which goes so well with their delicious majedra. Everyone makes mistakes so we will definitely keep ordering from Shish Kabob Express. And as always, the Dessert Baklava was scrumptious!"

"I used to really love this place. Their fattoush salad was to die for. I haven't been there in the last couple of years. I was so dissatisfied with the quality of my order. The fattoush salad was so over dressed that it was soggy by the time it got to my door, practically inedible. The lettuce was sitting in a pool of dressing. The chicken schwarma was dry, underseasoned, and simply sub par compared to the Sahara I remember. So unfortunate!"

"I order from Alamar often. Food is amazing, they did forget my fattoush this time which was disappointing but honestly it could have been my mistake when ordering in the Door dash app. Family Feast is a great value and you can feed a crowd! Highly recommend them!"

"Next time I'll order 2 Skewers of Kabobs. Vegetables were enough for 3 days. So tasty! Lentil soup was so hot and fresh and out of this world tasty. Veggies were cooked perfectly.
I am so satisfied with my complete order! For sure I will go back every week if even just for the soup."

"This is my new favorite spot... I have specific dietary restrictions with no seed oils and among other things, and their food is real and always seasoned perfectly... the Quart Curry and chicken sandwich I have ordered three days in a row... just tried the 2 Pieces Baklava and you can tell it's made with real honey, best I've ever had! :) thank you Sahara for caring about what you feed to other people!!!"
"I'm never disappointed when I order from here. I always order the Build Your Own Entree , as you get so many options and a great variety of food that lasts 2-3 meals. I always get the chicken cream chop and mix up my 2nd protein/meat from time to time. The rice and Greek salad are always my side choices and they are delicious. I always order the Bread & Garlic Combo . Who doesn't love their garlic?! So, the amount you get with this additional add on covers your needs for the entire meal. I definitely recommend these items!!"

"The food here is amazing. Great value and great tasting authentic Lebanese style cuisine. Top items would be the deboned chicken dinner, their wraps (any of them) and their lentil soup. The fresh loaves of pita and the garlic toum sauce are can't miss items. I order these guys almost 2-3 times a week! "

"the Chicken kafta skewer was amazing. And of course the Chicken Gallaba is loaded! Beautiful presentation, high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked every time. Super friendly staff. i love eating here"
"The Deboned Chicken was excellent with great charred flavors . The portions where very generous . The rice was real and not instant . My son and myself had the Chicken Cream Chops . We each had our own full dinner . We should have split an order as it was a lot . I do suggest getting the Grilled Veggies they are large pieces of charred peppers , onions , carrots and tomatoes , so good . The veggies where charred to a crisp tender not overcooked at all . We will be ordering again soon and we highly recommend giving them a try if you never have ."

"
One of my favorite restaurants! I have been to similar types of restaurants, there is NO comparison to the flavor or amount of food in the meals, the Shawarma Combo is one of my favorites. The Quart of House Dressing is phenomenal I order the quart and cook with it! The bread, the Hummus, the veggies, everything is great. They also have great employees always kind and professional. Been coming here for years. I dont leave many reviews, the establishment deserves it. 5 Stars!"
"PSA: This will feed a full family and have left overs!!
Vegetarian platter was GIGANTIC and top quality, falafel had a good flavor with strong notes of cardamon. Baba ganouj is smoky and perfectly blended with spice and oils, hummus very mild and neutral to serve any palette. Bread served hot and fresh, fries perfectly seasoned. Mujadara was perfect and familiar, great staple food with amazing texture and flavor. Soup was better than expected , with fresh, sharp lemon coming through. Nothing needed changes or re-seasoning."
